Seriously impressed. Live in a small apartment and when thinking of getting a counter dishwasher I realized this one takes up the same amount of space as my drying rack does so it fits perfectly. With top and bottom sprayers this thing cleans much better than I expected. I usually pre-rinse pretty well, but loaded some dried crusty plates as a test. Spotless. And super efficient as well. Has features I probably don't need like the UV sanitizing, but super cool. The automatic open at the end of the cycle to help in drying is pretty awesome as well. Honestly deserves 5 stars simply because it arrived undamaged. My first experience I bought a comfee or whatever that garbage brand name is and it arrived damaged and unusable. RCA is a household brand people recognize so I trusted them when buying a new dishwasher even though it only had 2 ratings. Great experience. The slot in the door is used for detergent powder. If you use pacs like me I just put the detergent pac in the bottom of the dishwasher. When the machine starts it's cleaning process, it collects water at the bottom and starts the soapy water to spray through the nozzles. Edit months later: Still works amazing after using it probably 30-40 times. My one gripe is I still don't know how to correctly lay out plates/bowls. Whatever, I just put them in how it makes sense to me. ... show more
