  • Loose and junk parts
Paying this much for something should be worth quality control and better parts

  • Amazing rig
Amazing crawler. Locktite everything before you run it too much.

  • A truly astonishing vehicle
This rig, for the price, is the most dynamically competent RC crawler you can possibly acquire. Yes, it famously has RTR problems. But also yes, if you are getting into this high level, you need to be ready to dig into every aspect of it, even if it is to only master the stock platform. It needs TLC and will reward you for it. I am mostly new to RC and went straight for the big dog. I didn't buy the kit because I wanted the RTR to show me how things 'could' be arranged while still crawling well. How it does what it does is a marvel and blows your mind. It took me a month or so to figure things out and I am so happy with where it is at now. But there's more, there is a whole world of prototyping at my fingertips to make anything I can think of. This platform, out of the box, is WIDE open and I am here for it. I can see it. For example, I just bought several lengths of threaded rod to try out various link designs to make it even more competent. What is possible with this platform breaks my brain. I have a shop and tools and 3D printing and CAD at my disposal, so your results may vary. I lost a plastic shock part this weekend and 'drew' and 3D printed one the next morning. I also don't have any friends into this and am blazing trail on my own with this wild thing and am loving it. If you are looking for: 1) a new thing to distract your everyday mind 2) the videos of it doing impossible things on YouTube call to you 3) you are willing/able to 'set up shop' to work on it 4) you have terrain in your area you can use it on... DO IT!!! ... show more
