  • Great Item
Color: Blue-1
Great Birthday surprise. Very easy to fly for a 7 yr old. We did lose wheels on 1st flight, they were not detrimental to operation of plane, just esthetics.. Recommended for kids.

  • pretty cool, but you need a lot of room to fly it, even with such basic functions
Color: Blue-1
this is only a toy, and very inexpensive. That is the most important part it is only like 20 bucks or less. It has very basic functions, but real RC planes cost a whole lot more. This is just a glider, with some propellers on the back, and a controller. It is very easy to assemble, and actually very durable. It is very easy to use, and actually a lot of fun. you can takeoff from the ground, but it is a lot easier to hit the gas and throw it by hand. It is pretty fast, but nothing crazy. It can fly straight really well, and is pretty easy to control up-and-down, in a straight line. you might even be able to land it. but, when it comes to turning, you have very limited control. There are no flaps, only a difference in speed in the two propellers. It takes a very long time to turn, nowhere near a 90° corner. I have a lot of property, and cannot get it To fly away and return, without fear of losing it. Once you start turning it Only makes a very slight bank, and barely starts to turn. If you had enough room, you might be able to get it to go in a complete circle and get it back, but probably better used to tire children out, then for serious RC airplane enthusiasts. Still a lot of fun, and very cheap. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Very fun RC airplane!
Color: Blue-1
This is actually a very fun beginner RC airplane. As an adult, It takes a little while to get use to the controls, but once you get the hang of it, it is very fun to fly. My son had a hard time flying it and ended up crashing multiple times so he eventually gave up and did not get the hang of it. In terms of durability, my son did crash it a few times and it was still able to fly. The only issue we had was that after a few crashes, the landing wheels got misaligned and because of this you could no longer do a ground to air take off. In order for us to continue to fly the plane, we have to throw the plane in the air with our hands and go full throttle for the plane to keep flying. I would not attempt to fly if if there is any wind as the plane is so light that the wind will take it off your intended flight course. Overall, I still think its a very fun beginner RC plane for the price, but would be worried with long term durability after taking more crashes. ... show more

  • Hard to break, simple to learn.
Color: Yellow
This is a very simple plane, the controller has two axis: up-down and left-right. There are also two buttons to toggle the lights and one to switch the plane into a high-power mode. These planes rely on the throttle to fly, it’s a balancing act of going fast enough to stay in the air and then just moving left and right to navigate. There won’t be any fancy flying with this plane, but it’s a good way to start learning (especially since it can take a beating). The kit comes with a charger, 2 spare propellers, a propeller puller, a battery, and a remote. The landing gear can be left off if you want, but I fly with it on so that I don’t lose it. The nose is a rubber cushion, it’s like a balloon that will dampen the impact on direct hit. The rest of the plane is closed-cell foam and is very light… avoid windy conditions. I would recommend this to anyone really, it's cheap and fun. ... show more

  • Tons of fun and great for beginners!
Color: Red-1
I got the SU-27 Model RC Plane to fly with my son who has a similar one in blue by a different manufacturer. This one is a slightly different design. One thing that I like better about this model is that the way the bottom of the plane is shaped gives you a nice place to grip it when hand launching the plane (which is how I always start flying). One difference I noticed compared to the other plane that I got was that this one only included a single battery while the other one came with 3 which was super handy. Additionally, the other one had prop guards so that if you crash into something it would help avoid damaging the propeller blades. The other plane also included an extra set of landing gear (which I don't bother to attach to either plane). I think at least one additional battery should be included but I could get away without the prop guards. There is clear tape at the nose, do not remove this tape, I think it helps hold on the rubber nose cone. I had removed it on the other plane and after it crashed the next time the nose cone popped off. In testing the plane seemed to fly a bit better than my son's plane and seemed to launch easier, so overall I would say this is the better of the two (except for the other items that are included with the other plane). The left control stick controls the speed. Since there are no controllable elevators on this plane you ascend and descend using the speed control. Speed up and the plane also climbs, throttle down and it starts descending. The right stick controls turning either left or right. It takes a few attempts to get a hang of, but after about a dozen or so short flights, even my 5-year-old son can fly pretty well. Overall, I highly recommend this plane, I just wish they would include one extra battery. ... show more

  • Fun, easy to fly plane, very tough.
Color: Yellow
The media could not be loaded. This is a very cool and fun to fly plane. My kids love it and can fly it pretty well around the neighborhood. It's a little bit of a learning curve on getting it to take off out of your hand, though with the landing gear in place, it can take off from the ground as well, it just needs more room (and a smooth surface). It turns easily and flies straight. It's tough enough to take some pretty hard landings; I like that the nose is rubber, so it just bounces back after a crash, protecting the rest of the plane. The stabilizer wings are easy to put on and take off, but I think I will probably leave them on so I don't wear out the plastic hooks that keep them in place. They seem to be designed to be knocked off so they don't get broken off. I haven't had a chance to take it to a large open space to try out some more tricks, but it seems like it could do some stunts as well. It's tough to land it without crashing unless you're in a large open space. Be sure to have a ladder handy if you're flying among houses or buildings; it will almost certainly end up on top of a building if you're not careful. ... show more
