I was so hopeful my dog would like this harness after outgrowing his first one that was puppia brand. The leash clips were not as big as another brand we tried and bothered him less. Unfortunately he is an awkward size right now and the adjustment point ended up under his armpit and he would just refuse to walk anywhere with it on. It worked great in the car the few times we used it with his seatbelt clip in. Seems like a great harness, just not for us. ... show more

    • Good, sturdy quality but not for my compact-built dog.

I got this harness in a size medium for my 20 lbs poodle-schnauzer mix. She has recently gone blind and I was looking for a harness with a more rigid structure that would allow me to guide her. This harness doesn't work though. My dog has the Schnauzer's "barrel chest" and the small size didnt fit around her ribcage. It looked like the medium was a good fit but the bottom/belly part is too long, even on the shortest setting, so the chest plate keeps riding up and cutting into her neck. This may work well for well for lean, narrow-built dogs. I'll have to send it back. ... show more
