This is for the SEDITY RC Drift Car, 1:24 Remote Control Car for Kids with LED Lights, Extra Drifting Tires, 25KM/H 4WD High Speed RC Car. The Good: LED Lights, responsive, reasonable speed. The Bad: Steering, screws in plastic. The Ugly: One screw stripped just by loosening it up. The Long Review: I love RC stuff. Cars, planes, boats, drones. You name it, I love it. And this is a really inexpensive RC "Drift" car from SEDITY. It's good for the age range of 6-8, beyond that, and it starts getting a little dull. It functions fine, accelerates well, stops quickly, and reverse works great. In fact, the only real downside to it was how it steers. It's all or nothing. Where most RC will turn at the rate you turn the wheel, these could have been set up with a pair of buttons. Push the left one to go left, push the right to go right, and you'd have the same layout. Once you turn the wheel far enough, left or right, you trigger the front end servo and the wheels crank hard left or hard right. Maybe that's just what they felt the car should be set up with, as it's supposed to sling the rear end around quite a bit for "drifting" but as a fan of RC cars, it felt a little...well, cheap. Speaking of cheap, nothing annoys me more than having screws going straight into plastic. You know that stuff's just going to strip away eventually, and to my luck, the battery plate screw stripped just from me opening it. Ah well. At least it has a latch. It also comes with a pair of batteries, so you can have a decent amount of time playing with it...I mean, your kids will have a decent amount of time playing with it. Yeah, totally. The replacement tires for the car are of a completely different variety. Mine came with the drift tires already on, and rubber grip tires as the spares. They won't get you more speed, but they do give you a little bit better handling and control. The speed was pretty slow. They're claiming 15mph, and about the only way this little car is hitting that, would be if I rig up both batteries to it and burn out the motor, or the ECC. Anyhow, if you want your little tyke to run around smashing a car into everything in sight (as they must, to learn how to drive them properly) this is a good little starter car. Just...don't expect miracles. Final Thoughts: On sale, it's a good buy, and I'd recommend it.

I picked up this drift car mainly as something fun to mess around with indoors and in the driveway, and it ended up being a lot more entertaining than I expected for the size. The speed is surprisingly decent. For something this small, it feels quick, especially on smooth surfaces. It’s fast enough to feel exciting but still manageable, which makes it a good balance for both kids and adults. The 4WD setup helps a lot with control too, especially when you’re trying to drift instead of just drive straight. These types of cars are built specifically to slide, and the extra drifting tires make a noticeable difference when you swap them on. The drifting itself is really the highlight. Once you get the hang of it, you can do some pretty fun slides and tight turns. It’s not going to feel like a high-end hobby-grade RC car, but for what it is, it delivers a fun, arcade-style drifting experience. Having both regular and drift tires gives you some flexibility depending on the surface you’re using. The LED lights are a nice bonus. They don’t add performance, but they make it look a lot cooler, especially if you’re using it in lower light. It gives it a bit more personality compared to basic RC cars. Build quality is about what you’d expect in this category. The body is usually lightweight plastic, but it holds up fine for normal use and the occasional bump into walls or furniture. It’s definitely more of a casual, fun RC car rather than something meant for heavy abuse. Battery life and range are decent. You’ll get enough run time for a good session, and the 2.4GHz controller keeps the connection stable without interference if you’re using multiple cars. If there’s anything to keep in mind, it’s that these smaller drift cars work best on smooth surfaces like tile, hardwood, or pavement. On rough ground or grass, performance drops off pretty quickly. Overall, it’s a really fun little RC car. It’s fast for its size, easy to control, and the drifting feature adds a lot of replay value. Great as a gift or just something to mess around with when you want a quick, fun driving experience.

Ok for a little toy grade, this RC is fun. RC is styled after the Toyota Corolla ae86, in other words, the “Initial D” drifter. The car is well made, albeit feeling a little cheap. Car is lightweight, comes with accessories and 2 batteries. The car comes with one battery INSIDE the car, and a 2nd in the accessory bag. You’ll also be able to find a screwdriver for the bolts for the battery doors (sure fire sign of toy grade) and a USB charger. The car itself does not have proportional steering, it’s all or nothing (another sign of a toy grade) It has somewhat proportional acceleration, but it’s not the best. Car comes with an extra set of on road tires, as well a the hard plastic drift tires. It has LED lights which you can turn on and off with the remote The remote itself does NOT have an off switch. You just press any to to wake it up, and it shuts off automatically. The car is 4 wheel drive. Which surprised me, the plastic tires do let it spin and “drift” but don’t expect to win any competitions. The rubber on road tires to me is what give this car its worth. You can change the tires by removing the TINY screw holding them onto the plastic hub. Just don’t tighten the screw too much or you will strip it. With the on road tires the car handles itself great. It hugs the turns, it takes off quicker and it’s just more fun. Overall this is a good little toy, perfect for a younger kid, and with the 2 included batteries it’ll run for a good 45 to close to an hour.
