Finally had the chance to take this boat out for a test drive with my Son. Needless to say neither of us walked away with that Wow, this thing is pretty fun feeling. I mean it is a fun little boat. It is a little boat. Not very big. Each battery lasted about 20-minutes as advertised. The remote control works well. I would say 30-feet away from you is the max distance you would want the boat to get from you. We did test the boat in a lake so we had all of the distance we needed for testing. We did not push the limits since neither of us felt like going for a swim. We tested the boat in broad daylight so the lights on the boat could not be seen. The lights are supposed to flash when the batteries are getting low. So beware using this in bright sun. You won't be able to see the low battery lights flashing. You may end up with a boat lost at sea. At the time of this writing this boat was selling for $28.99. In my opinion, this price is a little high, but I will let you decide. Personally, I would expect a little bigger boat at this price. It would be cool to run this boat in the dark where you would really be able to see the lights on the boat. Overall, this is a fun little boat. It's not a speed demon by any means. The batteries last as advertised for about 20-minutes. This boat comes with two batteries so it will provide 40-minutes of fun. Again, at this price range I would expect a little bigger boat. The remote takes 3 AAA batteries and are not included in the package. It comes with two extra impellers. I would rate this boat as being fun for a kid under the age of 14.     • WELL MADE & LOTS OF FUN

After thinking there was something wrong with it, I noticed the two little metal sensors in the middle, on the back of the boat & figured they must be moisture sensors (I seem to remember something about it having to be in water from somewhere), so I thought I would mention it right away. It moves right along and does have two speeds that are controlled by the button below the left joystick, press for HIGH and again for slow, the button on the right makes it twirl around as it moves, Not proportional control, just forward/backward/left/right which is fine. It fun to play with and the two batteries gives you plenty of time to mess with it. I used it in my pool, which is fairly small, but it was still fun, I imagine in a larger pool or pond it probably would be even better, not sure a lake is a good idea, but just keep in in plain sight and you’ll be fine. For a toy like this with two rechargeable batteries and fun to operate, it’s a bargain at $29.99 and would make a great gift for any “kid” regardless of age. Pictures to come. ... show more

I ordered this remote control boat for our family to play with in our pool while swimming. This 2.4 GHz boat includes a 2.4Ghz remote control, two batteries, screwdriver, extra propellers and recharging cable. Each battery on a full charge last approximately 20 minutes for a total of 40 minutes run time which is a good amount of time. This ship can do stunts such as twists in a 360 degree manner and stand on its rear end as stunts. This is quite entertaining and give a nice show at night with the built in led lights. I didn't look to see that this is only six inches long and really cheaply made. Don't see this lasting very long and you need to purchase AAA batteries as well.
