Description

The Girl's Razor Angel is a solid bike, loaded with features at a welcome price. It starts out with a sturdy all steel frame and fork, rolls on cross 3 spoke wheels with beefy street tread tires. The Angel features a BMX handlebar bolted to a sturdy four bolt stem, alloy levers and front and rear side pull handbrakes. It even comes with a set of axle pegs and an easy no tool needed quick release seat post clamp for easy height adjustment.

This bike is easy to put together... don't believe the other reviews stating that is was hard. My 9year old put the bike together with a little help tightening the screws and adjusting the front brakes... I saved on purchasing the out of box version of the bike and daughter absolutely loved it... she hugged me sooo hard, I thought I was at my chiropractor getting a ring-dinger 😁. Get the wrong one and the front wheel and front break are broken. I read the reviews and there are always a few complaints - most about the wheel and break - but the wheel & break happened to me. The welding on the forks were different so it was no surprise the wheel did not align. The box it came in was junk - any place you grabbed to pick it up - would flake off. I am sure the shippers cussed it. My granddaughter loved the pink color. Bought another bike off the display at wall Mart and it is the same bike, $40 cheaper but the wrong color! UPDATE 180501: had a bike professional work with this bike. He was troubled by the fact a lift truck likely damaged the forks, but was able to adjust everything to his satisfaction. The bike is now safe, and working as designed. This pink bike went to my granddaughters house, and the replacement stays at my house. ... show more

Assembled bike despite careless packaging by Razor. This was the 2nd bike sent after first one I received was in such bad shape, thought I got a lemon. Nope…second one sent had missing hex nut to attach front tire, scratches all over, bent hubs, brakes were loose due to stripped bolt. Took to bike shop next day for inspection. After looking at bike for two minutes, tech said he’d feel bad charging me $300 to fix an $80 bike (he didn’t know Razor charges $200 for this bike). He said “this bike is in really bad shape for being right out of the box.” Sending this “bike” back and spending my money elsewhere. ... show more

The bike itself is cute. However, the rim on the back tire was bent and the handlebars are scratched. Also, false advertisement. It says it’s a freestyle bike. It is not.

The expansion bolt wedge was missing - had to use one from an old bike. The pedals had the wrong thread size - had to use ones from an old bike. Fortunately an old Royal Baby bike had the parts I needed, because the manufacturer would not help, they told me to contact Amazon. Amazon offered to refund but after spending 2 hours Frankenstein-ing this bike together I don't want to go through it again - may try to just make this one work. Other than these two issues, the packaging was poor and the bike had a lot of cosmetic damage. The brakes are cheap. The brake handles are plastic. We'll see how long it lasts. Hopefully I can get 1 or 2 seasons out of it. If you don't have a lot of experience building bikes or have a lot of spare parts I would not purchase this.
