  • Best dock on the market
Color: Black
I’ve been looking for a while for a 2x4K 120Hz docking station and this is it. I’m a long time Razer fan and this delivers at a very solid price. It’s well made and nice soft metal finish and looks great on the desk without taking up too much space. It’s extremely responsive which is something I’ve found lacking in most other docks (my primary dock prior to this was the Thinkpad thunderbolt 4 dock). USB port selection is good and having a low interference port is a cool concept. The power supply is quite large but enough cable was included to be able to easy tuck it away. Another great thing is the power indicator light, which is a nice muted brightness so as to not be distracting. Love it! ... show more

  • Fantastic Laptop Dock. Can power 16" Macbook Pro
Color: Black
Really happy with this Dock, I feel like I finally have the solution to peripheral cable hell on my workstation. Since I started working remotely 5 years ago I've been chasing that dragon. I've tried a few other similar products but they were always glitchy with video randomly dropping out and or USB devices disappearing and/or reinstalling randomly. Another popular brand I used in the past got alarmingly hot to the point I stopped using it because I was concerned it would melt. I've been using this 8-10 hours daily with my work laptop (16" M2 Macbook Pro) for over a month now and have not had a single issue and it stays relatively cool. I've replaced four different connections to my laptop with a single USB-C and even added wired ethernet to my setup. I never bothered with wired ethernet on my work laptop since my wifi works fine and I didn't want another dongle. Since it was so easy to add with this dock without needing another cable running to my laptop I figured might as well keep one more heavy traffic device off our wifi network. With this dock I have 100W Power, Ethernet, External Monitor (1080p), USB Mouse (Razer Mamba Elite) and USB Keyboard. All of this now runs through a single USB-C cable. Since I can get power through this dock I now can just leave my Macbook charger in my work backpack when previously I had to pack and unpack it every time I went into the office. That made cable management basically impossible so I always had a charger cable hanging over the side of my desk. What's also fantastic is that now if I want to use my personal 14" Macbook Pro with a full monitor, mouse and keyboard setup it's as simple as just plugging in a USB-C cable and I've got a full desktop like setup. That's not something I used to bother with due to all the annoying cables. I will caveat that I'm only driving a decade old Asus 1080p second monitor with this. I've seen some other reviews have issue with 4k output. I don't own a 4k monitor so I can't confirm or deny this but for my setup it works flawlessly. Overall I'm extremely happy with this product. It looks really nice, it's a bit of a fingerprint magnet but once you have it setup there's not a lot of reason to touch it. It's solidly built and with a hefty weight and the quality is what you'd expect from Razer. From a cost standpoint I think it's priced accordingly to similar products on the market. Initially it seemed expensive for what feels kind of like a USB hub but it's really more of a docking station and when compared to similar products it's inline. Highly recommended if you're in the market for a docking station which supports power, ethernet and external monitors. If you just need a USB hub this is overkill. ... show more

  • The perfect addition to my Razer peripheral setup!
Color: Black
I have been working to clean up the birds nest of wires that is my desk. With 3x 32" monitors, a 2x monitor KVM and a 1x monitor KVM, a desktop PC and a work laptop, I have a ton of cables. Power, DisplayPort, HDMI, USB, some cables that were not even connected to anything, it was a mess. This Razer USB 4 Dock really helped clean up the cabeling mess! I 3D printed some mounting brackets and mounted it to the underside of my desk. I can easily access the front when I need to plug in a thumb drive or USB-C cable or read/write from/to an SD card. The back of the dock has all of my less used/permanent connections and the cables have all been bundled together for a clean look. I love that this Razer dock has a study, metal housing and a good weight to it. I feel comfident that it will outlast my 14900K CPU! I also like, that unlick most other Razer products, this dock does not have any aRGB lighting on it. This makes it super easy to hide away without having a random glow announcing its hiding spot. Additionally, all connections on this dock are snug and secure. So occasional bumps will not cause devices to connect and disconnect. I have read in revies on other Razer products, that some people have issues with Razer quality. Maybe I have been lucky, but I have been using Razer products since the original Boomslang mouse was released and I have two full gaming PCs that have all Razer peripherals; Chroma mouse mats, keyboards, mice, headphones, head phone stands, left hand key pads, and aRGB controllers for internal and external LED lighting control. I have not had a problem with any of my devices, ever. So far I am very pleased with this dock and thrilled to have added it to my collection. ... show more

  • Sleek Dock
Color: Black
This dock is very sleek looking and highly productive. I was able to power and run several external hard drives, with two monitors, from my laptop. For experimentation, I tested it on my desktop, without using the charging of course, to see if I could run a bunch of hard drives that way and it also worked. I would suggest to those who can afford, as it is a pricier dock, but it's very effective and worthwhile. ... show more

  • THIS IS MEANT FOR A LAPTOP TO CONNECT TO A PC
Color: Black
I got this as a gift for someone and here is what they said to me: "Nowhere online did I see ANYTHING that stated this was meant for a LAPTOP connect to a PC for dual displays. I knew the reputation of Razer products and gaming, I figured "hey, this will be great for my cable management and keep things organized." After going through TWO different customer service reps and over an hour of being asked the same questions over and over, it was determined that this is really meant for a laptop to plug into and then connect to a PC and be spread over two different monitors etc. Just be warned. I hope someone doesn't fall into the same mistake as I did. " ... show more

  • Perfect for 20Gb/s non-Mac computers.
Color: Mercury
This is a good dock with plenty of ports, but it doesn't deliver 40Gb speeds anywhere. It's not optimal for use on a Mac as only one display port is extended, any extra are mirrored. This dock is best for USB 4 laptops, just keep in mind that you'll only get 40Gb to the upstrem, not downstream. I returned this one for the Razer Thunderbolt 4 dock. It gives multiple extended displays and true 40Gb downstream. ... show more
