I had been using the mic from my Razer Kraken headset for most of my gaming and during online D&D sessions. I finally decided to upgrade my mic game and made the pull with the Seiren X mic when it was on sale. Not only am I in love with it but all of my friends and the people I came and voice call with have also remarked there is a significant change in voice quality (in other words I sound better). It is very pink but it works well the only trouble I am having is it is picking up some weird interference if not positioned a certain way. It sounds like a helicopter in the background. I did not have this issue with my old mic 🎙. Not really sure the cause and it is probably my location not going to hold it against this mic. The mute button is really useful.

I had the white version of this mic and then switched my set up and got this one to match, sadly it sounds horrible, and I was really upset because i never had an issue before. So now I have to go with something else. so be aware when purchasing that you have a 50/50 chance of getting a quality mic. :')

HORRIBLE customer service

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. Had to order directly through Razer as there were none in pink available on Amazon. I was on her PC installing a program a few weeks back and asked about the microphone as the light wasn't lit. She said that it hasn't worked for awhile. I asked what happened and she said that it just stopped turning on. She had used it maybe 5-6 times since she got it. I monkeyed around with the cable and plugged it into 2 other PCs in the house and still nothing. On a whim, I grabbed a spare micro USB cable and plugged it in - VIOLA! it worked. The cable was bad. This unit uses a micro USB with a 90 degree bend on the micro side (where it attaches to the Siren X - this is due to the tight clearance between the bottom of the unit where the cord plugs into and the base) and a straight connector on the normal USB side. Micro USB cables in this configuration are just not available in pink on Amazon so I went to Razer to inquire about obtaining a replacement. I figured this would be a no-brainer since I bought the unit directly from them. I got the support person on chat and explained the situation. They made me jump through hoops answering questions even though I explicitly informed them that I had already troubleshot the issue and it's definitely a bad cable. I was informed that they don't stock parts and they would need to RMA the whole unit (WTF!). Ok, sure, I'll play along. After the chat and questions were done, they said I needed to fill out a form and send it back to get the process going. The "form" was more of the same questions. I obliged and sent it back. They replied back with troubleshooting tips - I DON'T NEED TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS - I KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS! Just send me a $3 replacement cable already. After wasting a couple of hours with their customer service folks, I finally replied back to just forget it - I've wasted enough of my time dealing with their terrible customer service team. My daughter will just have to deal with a ill fitting white micro USB cable. Avoid dealing with Razer at all costs. Their idea of Customer Service is to make it as difficult as possible on the end user.
