Razer is a company I’ve used for years, there a reason for that, they deliver quality products (except headsets, lol) and they hit the nail on the head with these controllers. Albeit, this is one expensive controller, it’s the best I’ve ever used. I love the weight of it and the feel when playing, it’s comfortable. I haven’t noticed any stick drift issues after 6 months of use, which is why we ended up getting these controllers. I absolutely loooove the customizable triggers and extra buttons, they have a nice click to them. They also add an extra level of ease when gaming. My only complaints are the mute button is useless, the middle button doesn’t wake up the PS5, and there’s no vibrate function. Though, those are all things I don’t mind trading for this sick controller!

I've owned various Razer peripherals over the last decade and a half, and admittedly I've been disappointed by most of them. Razer has been, frankly, terrible at making controllers and I've got PTSD over my Razer ONZA experience roughly 13 years or so ago. What an awful experience that was. However, 13 years later and Razer maybe has struck gold. Initial impressions show they've finally made a controller worthy of the price tag, though I do want to point out I got lucky with the timing and was able to get this controller bundled with a Razer headset. The controller ended up being $120 and the headset $21. The beauty of the bundle is I could return the headset and keep the controller, but at $21 the Blackshark headset is worth it to keep as a backup headset for whatever (hey, the mic is really good!). Anyway, I digress - this is about the Raiju. Is it worth $200? I don't know... probably? A DS Edge is $200 and I've put my Edge in the desk drawer since breaking out the Raiju about three weeks ago. I've played ARC Raiders, Marathon, and Destiny (all PVP) with this controller and I've been very satisfied. I did get some XBox Kontrol Freeks for it, as I can't play without them, and the thumbsticks did take some time getting used to. I don't understand how the thumbstick tech works, stick drift should not be possible according to what I've read. They do feel good. I play wired only, but there is a dongle for wireless for those who are into that. Comes with a handy carrying case and some thumbstick covers, as well as a small screw driver to remove the custom rear buttons. I bought this for the extra six buttons and I have them all mapped so I never have to take my thumbs off the sticks. If you play any PVP games you already know how valuable this is. You do need to get used to the button location, as they are very sensitive mouse click buttons and you should take care not to press them by accident. It took me about four hours to really get dialed in. Size --> you need bigger hands for this. I've got larger than average hands (ex- I wear a L golf glove, for what it's worth) and this controller is about just big enough to wear it's not uncomfortable for me. Any bigger and we'd be in the original XBox controller territory. The DS Edge is probably more comfortable to hold in hand, but I'll take the tradeoff for functionality. I don't have a PC so I don't use Razer software... however I was able to connect the controller to my iPhone using the Razer app and make changes/modifications which was easy enough. Final words: I'm concerned about durability as I am with not just all Razer products, but most third party peripherals. Razer has let me down too many times in the past regarding durability issues where we are in a "Fool me _______, shame on me" scenario. It'll be my own fault for purchasing this is if it suddenly starts having issues after the return policy or warranty period is up. I guess we'll find out. For now, it's performing well and I'm enjoying it's functionality. Let's hope it lasts.

Ok so I just returned my raiju v3 pro I was very VERY disappointed I gave it 2 to 3 days to impress me because I had bought myself this controller for my birthday and I was very excited to have a controller that gets no stick drift, now the feel and quality of the controller are good definitely a bit big but nonetheless good and I had read that for ps5 its better to use the wired option because of heating problems with the back of the ps5 and I used the wired option, I play marvel rivals, warzone, story games like LEGO Batman legacy of the dark knight resident evil things like that and I noticed every time I moved around or looked around in every game there would be a lot of delay enough delay to make me lose on my more competitive games so I went and researched more before giving up on the controller and after customizing it, changing the polling rate swapping the analog sticks nothing worked, I wasted 195 dollars and now it’ll take a week for my money to get back into my account, this controller isn’t worth the money. If you are reading this don’t be disappointed like I was and DEFINITELY don’t buy it no matter who tells you to it’s not worth it get a dualsense edge instead and swap the thumbsticks for Hall effect or TMR thumbsticks that’s the best advice I can give you.

I play different types of games from fps to single player games, but ill make it easy to understand things about this controller as I have scuf controllers with tmr dualsense edge and hex gaming phantom with hall affects and the last razer wolverine v2 pro. 1. Controller is too expensive for its construction leaving felt as if you ever bought an old PDP or mad Katz controller from back in the day. The black "rubber" parts are grippy feeling, but feels more like plastic molded to look like rubber 2. You have to use the included usb cable or anything like it due to the usb c connection in the controller being recessed in to avoid disconnection. 3. Now you have paddles vs whatever the wolverine v2 pro had so giving you 4 paddles and 2 more additional buttons next to the bumpers up top. You also have caps of you want to remove some of the paddles, but the issue is that you have a rubber piece covering the screw and the issue is not that it covers but more that if you pull it out you can risk taking it off the paddles/ covers exposing the screw for its entirety. 4. Remapping has being improved from thw wolverine v2 pro to the raiju v3 but limited. Out of the box you can remap on the fly with the function button and taping on the buttons you want to map. You can create up to 4 maps. However, it took several tries to be able to remap buttons as it kept getting out of the remap mode so I had to use the app which is okay allowing you to do Remapping and check the triggers/analog sticks with adjusting the dead zones. However, the pc app allows you to do much more than the app especially if you play pc to unlock the poling rate. 5. The ergonomic of the controller doesn't feel right in my opinion as the controller if chunkier than a regular ps5 controller and even bigger than the older razer controller that came out the wolverine v2 pro. 6. Buttons are great feeling like mouse clicks on the front as well as the triggers when you slide the button to get the mouse click triggers. So you can use the controller as a normal ps5 controller or go clicky for fps. However my triangle button was tougher to push down than the other buttons. If you use kontrol freaks for your ps5 controller then you'll need to buy Xbox kontrol freaks as the analog sticks are the same as an Xbox controller. The controller does have a short dome and a tall convex included but the rubber feeling cheap and of hard molded plastic. 7. Controller connects using a dongle or you can use the included usb c cable. Wired or wireless to ps5 or pc. You can not turn on your ps5 with this controller as if it was a regular ps5 controller nor can you mute yourself like a regular ps5 controller. The mute buttons is a dedicated button only when you have a headset plugged into the 3.5mm headphone jack. 8. Verdict, in my opinion its not worth it for the price as it feels cheap some buttons are harder to push than others. The on the fly remapping always turning off when in the mode. The paddles being an improvement, but feeling like it was just a wolverine v2 pro with three improvements the paddles, tmr sticks and the difficult on the fly remapping. The controller feels more like $130 rather than $220+. I would rather switch between my scuf and hex gaming phantom ( hall affects) than use this controller.

I really like this controller. It feels good, handles smooth, and the extra features are useful. The only reason I don't use it often is the face buttons. Square, Circle, Triangle, and Cross require more pressure to push than any mouse click buttons I've ever used. I haven't seen complaints about this so maybe it's just mine. If there's a way to make them properly clicky like other controllers I have, I will absolutely change my rating. It's an incredible upgrade over the standard controllers otherwise, I love it. But the face buttons slow me down and that leads to poor performance which is frustrating. Did I get a dud or is anyone else having this issue?

I’ve used a lot of controllers for my PlayStation 5 over the years, but the Razer Raiju V3 Pro is easily the best one I’ve owned. From the moment I started using it, it felt like a huge upgrade over the standard controller. The build quality is excellent. It feels solid and premium in your hands, and the grip makes long gaming sessions comfortable. The buttons and triggers are very responsive, which makes a noticeable difference when playing fast-paced games. Everything feels precise and well designed. One of my favorite things about the controller is the customization. Being able to remap buttons and adjust settings lets you tailor the controller exactly how you want it. The extra programmable buttons are also a big advantage, especially for competitive games. Battery life has also been great in my experience, and the controller stays comfortable even after hours of playing. It really feels like it was made with serious gamers in mind. Overall, the best PS5 controller I’ve had. It’s comfortable, highly customizable, and performs extremely well. If you’re looking for a premium controller that gives you more control and a better feel while gaming, this one is definitely worth it.

Perfect controller, I got mine used like new and works flawlessly. It fixes literally every single problem I've ever had with a controller. It feels perfect (especially for my handhold) and it works way better than most other remotes with an app. The wireless connection via USB is great because you have no latency or delay. And the mouse click buttons are awesome for speed and precision. The app customization is easy to use and intuitive. There aren't as many options as other pro controllers I've tried, but they're better in turn. This is a quality product like no other I've personally had. The carry case is fantastic, and the cord and screw driver are great additions (the cord is very good quality and the screw driver can be used on the fan of the ps5 for better and easier cleaning) overall great product 10/10 and I intend to buy a second one so me and my partner can both have one

There’s a lot to unpack here. I waited a couple weeks before writing this so I could use the controller extensively. Pros: This is a beautiful, very well-made controller. The sticks, buttons, bumpers, paddles, and D-pad all feel excellent. The additional programmable bumper buttons were the main reason I chose this model, and they’ve delivered. I’ve had zero missed inputs, zero lag, and no interference with my 2.4 headset. Inputs are sensitive and crisp and exactly what I’d hoped for. Cons (depending on preference): The bottom two paddles are placed in a spot where some players might trigger them accidentally, especially if they’re not composed gamer. This doesn’t affect me personally since I use the top two paddles and the extra bumper buttons, so I removed the bottom ones and didn’t even map them. The included USB-C to USB-A cable is shorter than I’d like, and I would prefer USB-C to USB-C. Not a big deal for me because I use the dongle in the back of the PS5. Lastly, the paddle covers are a nice addition and work well, but they do have a slight amount of movement when installed. Not a dealbreaker—just something I noticed. Final Thoughts: I’m torn between giving this a 4 or 5 star rating. Realistically, it feels like a 4.5–4.7, but I’m choosing to rate it 5 stars because the positives greatly outweigh the small quirks. Although nothing is perfect the short coming are minor.
