  • Great Webcam - Quality Built-In Microphone
Color: Black
I’m really enjoying using the Razer Kiyo V2 webcam. It works incredibly well with Windows. I’ve been using it with Teams and it’s been pretty flawless. I was very happy that it worked without needing to install software or drivers. The sound quality is excellent. The video quality is really good. If you do choose to install the software, it gives you more control over zoom and other video settings. This camera is on the spendy side, but you get what you pay for. I really like how the camera mounts on my monitor. It was super easy to place and feels secure. I’m not worried about the camera falling or damaging my monitor. The privacy shutter is also really handy. I’ve accidentally activated my camera on Teams meetings in the past and it is super embarrassing. The shutter is super easy to open and shut by turning the dial on the camera. Mac compatibility could be better. It is plug and play with FaceTime. I was really disappointed that this doesn’t work with the Mac Razer Synapse app. It does take away the ability to change settings. I hope they roll out an update to the app soon that supports the Kiyo V2. ... show more

  • Great So Far!
Color: Black
Very high quality image meaning it records high quality video. No lag time, highly customizable for your desired settings, audio has been excellent thus far, easily removable from your laptop or computer when not in use. This is great for content creators, streaming gamers or just everyday office use. Razer is one of the leading companies when it comes to content creation electronics however there has always been mixed feedback some great experiences while some not so good. Just wanted to mention that so you can make the decision for yourself. ... show more

  • Mac Users Beware: Great Hardware, Limited Software
Color: Black
This USB-C Razer webcam has some really great features—the hardware itself is great. However, if you're using a Mac with an Intel chip, you won't be able to take advantage of much of it. For these Macs, the only functional control software is Synapse 2, which is older and requires you to create a gaming account just to use your webcam's basic settings. Essentially, you're buying a feature-rich webcam that will only function like a regular, basic one on your Intel Mac. On the positive side, I really like the built-in privacy shutter: you can simply twist the lens to instantly close it. It's a very easy and clever solution. ... show more

  • Quality camera but misses the mark on simplicity
Color: Black
This Webcam takes high quality video. Audio is good, but no better than much lower priced cameras. It's self-focusing and the privacy shutter can be closed by a rotation of the lens. Lots of adjustments to the camera are possible, but all require use of separate, but free software. To install the camera, you position it where you want and adjust the stand. I wanted it on the top of my monitor. It works, but it's a bit precarious. A bump into the monitor will misalign the camera or send it toppling to the desk. I would have preferred something that would grab or clip onto the top of the monitor, rather than basically just resting on top. The next step is connection of the included cable between the camera and your computer. Easy if you have a USB Type C connection. I have one in the front of my computer which means the cable wraps around to get to the monitor. I would have preferred the traditional USB connection as most computers have multiple such ports on the back of the computer. Once connected, the camera is ready for immediate use. You will be prompted to download the Razer Synapse software, which you'll need to do if you're not satisfied with any camera setting. For example, the camera defaults to a very wide angle. I noticed this immediately when I opened Zoom. However, I couldn't adjust the camera zoom using Razer Synapse because the camera was in use by another program (Zoom). I had to shut Zoom down, make my adjustments, then open Zoom back up. Subsequently, I opened the camera using the Windows Camera app and found that the camera wasn't using the settings I established for Zoom and had defaulted back to the wide angled lens. Therefore, it takes some work to set up the camera like you want. This task would be easier if the camera instructions were more detailed. The Razer Synapse software always needs a lot of playing around with to figure out. The bottom line is that this is a high-quality camera with lots of capabilities. If you need all this and are willing to make the effort to extract this through use of their software, you will be satisfied. But if you're looking for a feature rich camera that's basically plug in go, there are too many misses to recommend it, including the way it attaches to a monitor, connects to a computer, and defaults to a very wide-angle lens that wouldn't normally be used. ... show more

  • What a Great Streaming Camera!
Color: Black
The Razer Kiyo v2 is a fantastic streaming camera. Read through the features to see all that it can do. And it does all that with ease. It's plug-n-play. Plug in the included USB cable and the camera is instantly recognized and working. The image quality is fantastic and fluid. The mic's really good, too. Solidly built, this is a great web/streaming camera, and I think the price is good due to the quality and features of this camera. ... show more

  • Webcam
Color: Black
Snagged this for doing video calls. Not a bad camera overall! Has high quality video, easily mounts, decent zoom, and I like the quality in which it streams and refreshes. Price is a bit high considering its a Webcam, but Razer always has high end pricing.
