  • High-Octane Gaming Powerhouse - You Wont Be Disappointed!
Style: QHD+ 240Hz Color: Classic Black Set: RTX 4070
Boasting a relentless combination of power and portability, the Razer Blade 16 Gaming Laptop has seriously raised the stakes in the gaming arena. This machine screams 'no compromise' and means it. Pros: Performance: With its NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU and a 13th Gen Intel 24-core i9 HX CPU, it's akin to holding a small, portable supercomputer. Be it gaming or content creation, this laptop shreds through tasks with a vengeance. Display: The screen is a vibrant feast for the eyes. Gaming on this beast is nothing short of a visual spectacle. Build Quality: The solid, sleek design, coupled with a robust chassis, exudes a premium feel. It's like holding a luxury sports car in your hands. Probably my favorite laptop I've ever purchased, and i have purchased MANY in the IT field! Cons: Price: The high-end specs come with a steep price tag. It's definitely an investment, but given its performance, it could be worth it for hardcore gamers and it also has the newest GPU on the market. Battery Life: As with most gaming laptops, the battery life could be better. High-performance gaming eats battery, so you might find yourself tethered to a power outlet more often than you'd like. Fan Noise: Under heavy load, the fans kick up a notch. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's noticeable. Overall, the Razer Blade 16 is a power-packed beast in a compact shell. It's a bold statement in the world of portable gaming. It's not perfect, but its shortcomings are overshadowed by its raw, unrelenting power. For gamers who crave performance above all else, this laptop hits the mark. Just make sure you have a heating pad on your lap since this thing gets so hot! ... show more

  • Way too thick and also dont buy from amazon
Style: QHD+ 240Hz Color: Classic Black Set: RTX 4070
I received a box that was clearly already opened. I didn't mind at first but realized the laptop had some body damage so I will be returning it. The laptop itself is way too thick to be called a laptop. Its not ergonomic or practical at all. I might have still kept it if I didn't receive a used and damaged unit. Kind of tired of amazon doing this and not having tighter QC. ... show more

  • Razer blade 16 QHD+240 rtx 4070
Style: QHD+ 240Hz Color: Classic Black Set: RTX 4070
I've owned Blade for a week now. I wanted to test it under load as much as possible so that I would know in detail what I was dealing with. To my surprise, there were no problems. Everyone says that a laptop with a 4070 video card is not worth the money, I decided to buy it for $100 more for the 4060 version. And I'm more than confident that the 4070 $100 price tag is worth it. I hope for the same productivity in the future. ... show more

  • Almost perfect...
Style: QHD+ 240Hz Color: Classic Black Set: RTX 4070
Got this laptop after having to return 3 others for various reasons. This is a proper premium laptop, and unlike other manufacturers, Razer doesn't lie when touting their all-metal construction and build quality. It's a rocket, especially for being a 4070-equipped model. I did upgrade the RAM to 64GB which was easy enough, and I swapped the 1TB SSD for 2x2TB SN850X's so I could run complex projects without worrying about storage. The stacked SSD mounts are an interesting design, and it does make me worry about heat dissipation a bit, but we'll have to wait and see how it goes over time. I'll update if something changes. The display is beautiful (I got the 1440p non-dual-mode one), and it only has very minor backlight bleed on two points on the bottom edge of the bezel. There are two bad notes though - the webcam cover and the bottom cover. The webcam cover is simple enough, when I'm carrying the laptop in my backpack, the webcam cover can slide closed without me physically doing it, which sometimes leads to mildly irritating Windows Hello logins. The bottom cover is my biggest gripe. If you're picking up the laptop with one hand while the machine is running, you'll be pushing on the bottom cover. Due to Razer's design weirdness, they didn't put a screw hole near the fans for the bottom cover, so you end up pushing the bottom cover into the fan, which causes an uncomfortable grinding noise. It's a design oversight on Razer's part, but it's not a huge deal. I might try and college-engineer a MacGyver solution to it, but know the problem is there. Don't pick up the machine with one hand while it's open, and if you have to, pick it up from the forward side of the palmrest, away from the keyboard. ... show more

  • The Best Gaming Laptop of 2023
Style: QHD+ 240Hz Color: Classic Black Set: RTX 4070
WOW! The one-line review of the new Razer Blade is that it's simply amazing! Let me start by saying I've never owned a 'gaming laptop', I have a built top of the line desktop, and an Asus Zenbook 13 with an OLED display. This is a completely different beast. It's primary function is for gaming, but works just fine for an everyday laptop, just a bit larger and heavier. I'll start with the chassis. Its very well built, and heavy. The build quality is like I've never seen before, I've owned a Dell XPS 13 which is the 'best' windows laptop, but the build quality surpasses that and is in MacBook territory. The frame is very stiff, absolutely zero flex anywhere, it's all CNC Aluminum. There is a massive trackpad, larger than my S22 Ultra, but it is not a haptic pad like a macbook. The trackpad is fantastic, palm rejection works 80% of the time but it is better after I updated Windows and Razer synapse on the laptop. Keyboard is Ok, nothing special or noteworthy, it has per-key RGB, and feels good enough to use for gaming. The Display - Coming from an OLED laptop, it's pretty clear it's no OLED - HOWEVER, the display is gorgeous. The best non-OLED I've seen on a laptop. It gets extremely bright, and is 240hz 1440p. PPI is excellent and you won't be seeing pixels. The Blacks are not as deep, but there is minimal, almost no backlight bleed. Motion is smooth, and pixel response times seem very low checking out the blur busters UFO test. Performance - Performance on this thing is amazing. More than enough for day to day use, and gaming. It has an RTX 4070, and an I9 13th gen intel. I've played cyber punk at 60-100fps on med/high settings, LoL runs at over 400fps, and day to day tasks are blistering fast. The cooling is great too, somehow the fans on this cooling a 35w CPU and 175w GPU are quieter than my 15w zenbook! I was able to use intel XTU to underclock the CPU by -0.2v and it's had no problems, but results will vary chip to chip. Battery - Battery is about average for this class of laptop. On 240hz, and Nvidia optimus on, I am able to get ~5-6 hours of non-gaming use at half brightness. This includes web, discord, spotify etc... Gaming, well you're lucky to get an hour! The included 230w charger will unlock the high performance modes of the CPU and GPU, and is able to charge the laptop even at full use. It's pretty bulky though so I've been carrying around a 100w USB GaN charger with me. It can charge at 100w via either USB C ports. Weight, Ports etc. - There are 3 USB-A 3.0 ports, two USB C, SD card, headphone, and HDMI on this laptop. It is a bit heavy, and if you're are holding it you can feel it, but not too bad. The thin borders of this laptop make it fit more like a 15" of the olden days. Overall, this Razer Blade 16 has been great for me for the last month, I haven't touched my Zenbook or XPS since. Even though it's a bit heavy, it's not as bulky as you'd think, and will work well as a general use laptop, and amazing as a gaming laptop. ... show more

We paid $3,100 for it. It always ran super hot and others noted a similar issue with all Razer laptops. We shouldn't have purchased it after reading the reviews. We did so we sent it back to the manufacturer and they said it has a blown motherboard and it would cost $2,100 to repair. You would expect a $3,100 laptop to last more than 1.5 years. We aren't going to sink more money into a defective product. It has a manufacturer defect that causes it to run hot. It is only a matter of time before it falls. Razer customer support is terrible. I tried to escalate this defect and all they would say is how do you want to pay for the repair. You can't talk to anyone other than someone asking for more money. • Doesn't disappoint!
Style: QHD+ 240Hz Color: Classic Black Set: RTX 4070
This laptop has some serious improvements to the prior model. I've seen some complaints about the touchpad being too active while typing, but a quick adjustment to the sensitivity fixed that issue for me. You're also able to disable it when using a mouse. I love all the ports that these laptops have to offer; I'm easily able to use the same laptop for everyday use, not just gaming. The camera privacy screen is a small, but necessary touch. As far as performance goes, it's exceeded my expectations! I haven't had any issues gaming, the battery life is significantly better, and it hasn't gotten hot for me AT ALL compared to every other gaming laptop I've used. This laptop outperformed my desktop which was a bit of a shock to me. While the laptop is a little heavier and bulkier, this is a necessary change that's improved performance significantly (I also don't carry or move my laptops around really). Accessing everything inside for upgrades is a breeze, as expected. The screen brightness has also really impressed me, even in a bright space. As far as price goes, sure this is an expensive laptop. But any gamer knows what to expect as far as higher prices go for gaming laptops. Chances are if you're in the market for one, you've already got a hefty budget prepared. Where I'm really happy with this, is that comparable laptops in the market right now are around the same price. I'm excited to see that you're not overpaying just for the name when it comes to this awesome machine. Absolutely recommend this Razer! ... show more
