  • 4 years of moderate to heavy daily use, runs beautifully!
I’ve had mine for over 4 years now and use it almost daily for different things like gaming, solidworks, video and photo editing, and many other hobbies as well as work. It’s handled the workload well though I don’t bog it down, and the only notable “issue” I’ve seen is a moderate drop in battery life (which is to be expected seeing as I’ve had it plugged up for about 90% of its life). ... show more

  • Incredible productivity computer
I got this computer to primarily edit and render photos and videos. For that purpose, this thing is an absolute beast. For gaming, I can't say that there is ANY laptop I would recommend, but this one definitely gets toasty. I disabled the turbo on the i7 in the bios to drop temps, and the palm rests/space over the keyboard get warm to the finger in about 30-60 minutes of MTG: Arena, which isn't exactly a rough title to render. However, again, this laptop is killer for productivity. Ten T5 Torx screws hold the bottom cover on, which simply levers off with light pressure. Both SSD slots are dual type, meaning that any spare drives you have around will be compatible with the empty spare slot, and RAM is easily accessible and upgradeable to 64gb. I've elected to keep mine at 16gb for now, I've never been much for multitasking. Build quality is excellent, and in my opinion is the killer feature of the Blade. The multitouch trackpad is fluid and responsive, resisting oil buildup and remaining very low friction. Gestures work first try. The chassis and screen feel sturdy, without noticeable flex. The hinge magnets are firm, but workable with both hands (1 hand tends to slide it around the desk surface rather than opening the thing). Yeah, it's a fingerprint magnet. I've got more than enough microfibers to not be bothered, though. Overall, if you're expecting to do some light gaming between productive tasks up to rendering video, the Blade will see you through, and it'll look good doing it. If you want to do AAA gaming binges, build a desktop. There's just not enough ventilation in laptops to do that kind of stressful load, and the thermals WILL shorten the life of your computer. ... show more

  • Son loves it!
Got this for my son a while back as an Amazon Prime Day deal and he loves it! He primarily plays Minecraft and Steam games. It's quiet and handles everything he throws at it. I recently upgraded my monitors and let him have my old 24" monitor to extend his desktop via HDMI, so he can have Discord (or whatever) open on one of the monitors and his game going on the other monitor, which works flawlessly. He's been doing remote learning (5th grade) and his school gave all of the students Chromebooks to use during the school year. Since I got him this laptop, he figured out on his own how to use the laptop for all of his school work and doesn't even turn on the Chromebook anymore. He's really happy with it! Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Wi-Fi Issues After a Few Years – Disappointed with Reliability
I purchased the Razer Blade 15 Base Gaming Laptop (2020 model) in February 2021. Initially, it worked great and delivered the performance I expected for gaming and productivity. However, after a few years, I started experiencing severe Wi-Fi connectivity issues. Despite trying every troubleshooting step — driver updates, network resets, even a full Windows reinstall — the problem persists. The laptop simply refuses to stay connected to Wi-Fi, which makes it almost unusable for daily tasks. For a premium device at this price point, I expected better long-term reliability. Considering how crucial Wi-Fi is for a modern laptop, this is a major disappointment. Pros: • Great design and build quality • Powerful specs for the time Cons: • Wi-Fi adapter failed after a few years • Difficult and expensive to repair • Poor long-term reliability for the price I hope Razer addresses these issues in future models. If you’re considering buying this laptop, be aware of potential connectivity problems down the road. ... show more

  • Good Windows Computer for Designers
Solid build quality. Outstanding display. Wish I had picked one with more storage, but I fixed that with an external ssd. I haven’t used a windows pc for gaming or design work outside of work in over a decade, so my review won’t help beyond that. I do notice the computer gets really warm when playing simple games, but that might be normal. Get a laptop stand to keep is cooler. ... show more

  • Great quality, feels amazing to open up!
Arrived early with no problems so far. Comes in a very nicely packed box with stickers and the prodcut insert. Its kinda hard to fold the laptop open, and it took me a while to find the power button.(Its on the speaker next to the delete key) The material feels great but it leaves finger smudges; I almost don't even wanna touch it! Keyboard and track pad feels nice. Battery life feels meh; even if I haven't played a game on it yet. Storage is pretty limited, but its better to save things on a cloud. The plug for the laptop charger is a little sharp so might scratch the side of the laptop on accident. So far its very good, I'll update as time goes on. ... show more

  • New PC gamer honest review.
I have played on consoles and handheld gaming devices my entire life. Never wanting to pick up a mouse and keyboard. But I had finally decided to answer the call over this Pandemic. And boy did I make a great decision. This is my first time buying a Laptop for gaming and a little bit of work. I use the Razer to game Skyrim, Battlefield, and Baldur’s Gate 3. All of my games have run smoothly. Working as far as typing documents, having virtual conferences, and zoom meetings has gone very well! My new laptop has never crashed, overheated, or died out on me. As a first time PC gamer this is exactly what I was looking for. Definitely recommend the purchase! ... show more
