  • Beautiful gorgeous laptop!!!
CPU: Ryzen 9 6900HX Graphics Description: RTX 3070 Ti Style: Quartz
I’m obsessed with this laptop!! I LOVE the Razer brand, they never disappointed me. One thing I’d like to address though, is that it can get overheated pretty fast. So as long as you keep the laptop cool(probably utilizing a laptop fan), it’s an amazing laptop that is worth every penny. It is highly recommended that you grab it when you can because they do sell extremely fast and I believe that Razer is not considering making more of these. ... show more

  • Do not buy Razer products
CPU: Ryzen 9 6900HX Graphics Description: RTX 3070 Ti Style: Classic Black
When the laptop worked it was great. $2500 great? Not sure about that. Definitely not value for the money. It did get really hot when gaming: Old World and NCAA 14 revamped. The games would crash on occasion. Not even on the highest graphics settings. The laptop was finicky with sleep mode and getting it to wake. Which leads to why I’ll never buy or recommend a razor product to anyone. The laptop randomly shut down after updating to windows 11 and would not boot properly. I was deployed to West Africa at the time and I spent several days coaxing it back to life. Ended up losing everything I hadn’t saved to my backup. It wasn’t much because I had saved routinely. But imagine trying to download all the programs and content on 3G speeds. Yes, 3G still exists. This was within the first 6 months of owning the laptop. Then the icing on the cake and my real issue with Razer and their products. Once I returned home I didn’t use the laptop very often. I had it sitting on my desktop, I kept it updated in case I needed it for another trip. Last month the laptop suddenly shut down and would never turn back on. I checked the power supply. That wasn’t the issue. I end up sending my laptop to razer support to be diagnosed and repaired. For $100 they’ll diagnose. For another $100 they’ll repair a $1500 item. So in all they wanted $1700 to repair a $2500 laptop. The part: piper8 pcba assy 3070-e6. I think anyways. The invoice was filled with typos. Probably the technician laughing as they typed thinking “what a sucker to buy these products.” The laptop didn’t even last two years. This may be a rare occurrence for their products but I’ll never buy another razer product again. I bought the laptop with the intention of keeping it for at least 5 years before needing to replace it which is why I was willing to spend $2500. That did not go as planned. ... show more

  • Sleek, amazing performance, and surprisingly quiet so far
CPU: Ryzen 9 6900HX Graphics Description: RTX 3070 Ti Style: Classic Black
What more can I say? It's sleek and slim, doesn't have an overbearing gamer aesthetic to it like most powerful laptops with good dedicated GPUs in them. It's incredibly powerful as well, tested out Elden Ring on max settings and it ran perfectly all while managing to stay very quiet. Haven't tried any more powerful games, but I feel like so long as you tune whatever you play back a little (and make some other tweaks like turning off Turbo Boost on the cpu), you've got yourself quite the powerful laptop with minimal noise compared to other gaming laptops. ... show more

  • Not the greatest but get the job done
CPU: Ryzen 9 6900HX Graphics Description: RTX 3070 Ti Style: Classic Black
lets get to the point, it gets HOT just by light gaming, anything with ultra setting it get uncomfortably to touch. Normal browsing internet, youtube, netflix, word, excel this device doing great job keeping it cool as long as you get intake fan little room to breathe (my solution was using laptop tray with build in fan). Battery life, with Ryzen 9 hype and all that doesn't help much it still have room to improve in the future hopefully (Razer hope you read this), plugged in all the time no big deal to get best performance out of this laptop for gaming or productivity work. Yep its 14 inch and ultra lightweight, design itself undeniably great and have the premium feel, and solid. Keyboard lights up help when typing in the dark. Screen refresh rate great for FPS and other game. Processing speed great and fast, thanks to Ryzen 9, DDR5 RAM and M.2 Nvme SSD that build-in. RAM soldered-in (cant be upgraded sadly) SSD just your typical swappable with bigger capacity if needed (1TB by default). Hope this help you making decisions before purchashing. ... show more

  • Avoid RAZER like the plague. PCs are lemons and the tech support is useless.
CPU: Ryzen 9 6900HX Graphics Description: RTX 3070 Ti Style: Classic Black
Edit II: as I was packing it up to return it, I gave it one more shot and suddenly everything worked. I was able to restore the system and the WiFi card reappeared... The PC worked without a hitch for about 4 months. Then, the same shutting down issue came back and the RAZER is stonewalling me. Past the Amazon refund window but I'll (lol) try to get them to help me. Edit I: crashes resumed a couple of days later and now the WiFi card is not recognized so there was little I could troubleshoot without internet access. Reset again but the WiFi card is still not recognized so windows setup cannot be completed and the pc basically a paperweight. Initiating a return. Come to think of it, this is the second time I bought a Razer laptop that would not start out of the box and required a factory reset to function. To add to the fun, this one would crash in the middle of said reset so I had to do it more than once. Razer support is terrible and deliberate. They want things like a video of a crash that occurs randomly. They also make you watch a BSOD video that mostly deals with removing new software/hardware to make the system work. I just unboxed the hecking thing! The razer recovery image web service also does not work. Luckily, the recovery image already installed worked (after a couple of tries). I guess at the end it's going to be fine but generally laptops, especially expensive ones, should be plug and play and perhaps razer should focus on quality assurance razer than pretty marcom stuff. Razer has consistently well-built PCs with horrible QA. if this were a tower, it'd be a no-go. Given that it is a laptop, it will continue exist until the components get modular enough for folks to build their own laptops (soon, i hope). Just for fun, however, i spent four hours getting this thing working properly and i get about $100 per hour from my 9-5 so.... i guess i would have been better off buying from a brand that does not have the entry gauntlet. ... show more
