It's Unique Shape Means Great Versatility!
Size: Large/Adult
Color: Speckled Blue
I love to swim and this kickboard is the best I've ever used because not only does the unique shape make it easier to use while swimming laps and exercising your legs but when I swim for relaxation. Its shape allows you to comfortably use the board to prop up your arms and hold a paperback so you can
read and kick at the same time while keeping your book dry. I end up accidentally getting a lot of exercise while reading a good book!

My neck doesn't hurt when I practice kicking when I use this board--and it did when I used the standard type. I get a lot of questions and a lot of people agree that their necks or shoulders hurt when they use the standard boards (we are active 60+ swimmers, mostly.) It is kind of large to lug around
. But the cheery purple makes the workout a little more bearable, so I guess that's important, too.

My Ray Board makes for great kick warm-ups! Neck positioning is ideal; shoulder blades are easy to relax on and keep on your back. Good too for in-line head-in breath & kick drill runs.

A little awkward to use at first but I really like it!
Size: Large/Adult
Color: Speckled Blue
A lot larger than I thought! It's super buoyant, sturdy, and it can definitely hold a dense/large adult unlike some of the flimsy foam boards. The shape is interesting and took a few tries to feel comfortable but I like it and will be using every swim!

Love the way I can rest my arms on this and concentrate on my kick. Plenty of room to let your face stay in a neutral position in the water. This is key as I have my vertebrate fixed at C4-C6.

Great at reinforcing proper arm position

Love this kickboard. I chose it to avoid the inevitable neck issues that come when a regular board is used you forget to engage your lats, and it's working like a charm.

Bought because of neck issues
I was really hoping this would alleviate my neck and shoulder pain from herniated discs when my head is up but it's minimally effective. However, it works with much, much less pain and numbness for me when my head is down compared to conceptional kickboards. I'm 5'1 and bought the child size and it f
its perfect for me.

Props for the creator! Ingenious. This is way more comfortable to use than the old rectangle boards. A lot less strain on my lower back. There's a nice ledge to lay your arms, and you can hold onto the sides rather than the hole if you have shoulder issues. I am an xl sized woman and I do not sink wh
ile using the adult size. I love it!

Sturdy Kickboard but too large
Size: Large/Adult
Color: Purple
I am middle age above average swimmer who was looking for a kickboard to incorporate with my daily swimming routine. This kickboard caught my eye since it was designed to be ergonomically friendly. After receiving this kickboard I was excited to put it to use. My first impressions after opening the p
ackaging were: high quality and sturdy material was used to craft the board however it seemed much larger than the standard kickboard one might be accustomed to using. Although it seemed larger than expected I still wanted to give it a try. I consider myself an average size female, 5'6" approx 145lbs so I was really hoping this would work for my size. However, I rarely use this kickboard now during my swimming routine because I feel like I am straining to reach the front hand rest and my shoulders don't feel wide enough to sit on the kickboard where intended. With that said my husband uses the kickboard without complainta and my kids love to flip it upside down and float on it. With that being said if the company came out with another option besides small for children or large for adults I'd likely purchase again and give it another try because it is a very high quality board that should last a long time.

Great for exercising legs in water - unless you want to actually go somewhere
Size: Large/Adult
Color: Speckled Blue
This is a neat looking device and is well made and sturdy. I was very excited to get it because I have just started going to a gym to build strength and just get some good low resistance exercise in the lap pool. Before buying this item I read in reviews and info that it will still work well if you w
ant to use it with your face above water, which is what I needed it for. Here's the problem. When I push off and then kick like mad, I can go only as far as my initial push off will get me, then I'm as dead in the water as a rowboat without oars. It makes no matter whatsoever how hard I kick and or which kick style I use, going anywhere is not an option. It feel pretty silly to get 1/4 of the way down the lane and then just sit there kicking up a storm and not moving at all. My kids teased me about needing either a motor or a tow. They (two healthy adult kids) tried it with exactly the same results. If you put your face in the water you can propel along fairly well, but do NOT buy this if you want to use it with your face above water - unless you want to just sit there in neutral while you kick like mad.

Comfortable and ergonomic
Size: Large/Adult
Color: Speckled Blue
I thought this would be too big but I decided to keep it after I saw there was a $19 return fee! Turns out as a small adult, it does work. I'm 5'3. It's comfortable and ergonomic.

Not up to using it the "proper way" yet - but a huge help as I try to strengthen my injured knees
I tore two menisci in one knee and one meniscus in the other about 9 months ago. Managed to avoid surgery, and my physical therapist suggested swimming. Problem is, I have not really done any lap swimming in 30+ years and have absolutely no form. Combined with poor body conditioning, I have been limi
ted to just doing breaststroke and some light exercises - nothing to really get a good workout without hurting my knees or having me feel like I will drown halfway across the pool. Then I hurt my shoulder. So, decided to try some kickboards provided by the swim center. Well, that was a big fail as the position actually worsened my shoulder. Then I saw this product and thought, maybe... Well, I have only been swimming twice so far with it, but I finally am getting an actual workout without hurting my shoulder or knees. Mind you, I am not swimming. It is more like biking in the pool. I hug it to my chest and it keeps me upright as I do cycling motions, slowing moving down the lane. It works; I look ridiculous, but it works! Hoping, once my shoulder heals, I can start doing some actual swimming with the board and get my form in shape enough that I can feel safer trying to swim on my own.
