  • Great gift for kids and or adults
The media could not be loaded. We bought this for our sons 10th birthday, but my husband has been playing with it more.

  • Challenging Marble Track
The media could not be loaded. I wanted something less clunky and tedious than the vertical marble towers you build out of plastic cubes. My 7 year old loved watching them but they were unreliable, would tip over, and were so loud when the marbles would run through! So, we tried this. We've played with it a bunch and it's always exciting and new. If you're building a huge track, be ready to put some time and effort into it. I play with her because it requires a lot of critical thinking and planning ahead to make things work. But she's learned so much about momentum and gravity and it's awesome. The track builds horizontally, so we end up playing on the floor and go as big as possible every time. We've created mazes and race tracks, both are so much fun to make and then play with. Most of the pieces are plastic, but it feels fairly sturdy, and the peices fit together well without snapping tightly where they'd be a pain to pull apart. The base is cardboard, sturdy cardboard, but still something to be mindful of not wrecking. This is the first thing I've ever bought that fit nicely back into its original box! But you'll need a few gallon sized zip locks for all the pieces. I have 2 for the white track pieces, 1 for the green pieces and special pieces, 1 for all the height tiles, 1 for all the rail pieces, and a small one for marbles. We keep the pieces in the bags as we build and put them all back when we're done. It's organized and makes clean up a breeze! And they all fit in the box!! I highly recommend this track, it's really top notch, but it's not a little kid toy, and parents of small children may find themselves doing all the building and the kiddos just playing with it afterwards. I can see my daughter enjoying this for years!!! ... show more

  • Best Marble run toy ever
I'm a grown man who bought the XXL set and a few hammers, scoops, flip accessories to finally try my hand at marble runs again. Now, free hand build this is a lot of fun and you can make a lot of really diverse and gimmicky runs but the full potential of what you can create is unlocked with the help of the Gravitrax App which has a kiddie version of 3D AutoCAD for this set. That's right, you can design multi level, multi dimension runs of insane depth and tricks, test the runs out for potential flaws before the Real Life Build and then when you're happy with the plans- Follow the Step by Step picture Build Instructions to Built it! That's just friggin awesome. Highly recommended 10/10 toy. Note: The Gravitrax App design isn't fully account for all the real life chaos and variances which could mess up the marble run if the tolerances are too close so when you design your marble runs, allow for some extra slope/distance/wider curves/shorter curves/height differences etc so you don't waste timing building a dead run that only works in the App. ... show more

  • Child’s attention span
My 7 yr old hasn’t put it away or lost any parts except some steel balls. A great toy but found it hard to find extra track etc. without having to buy more expensive add ons

  • Perfect toy for adults or kids
Lawrence:. Awesome toy! Plastic pieces are strong. I know how people are breaking them. They are using them to remove a steel marble from the magnet cannon when they have it out of reach which requires a lot of force. I did this also and surprised the bridge piece didn't break but if it does break I won't leave a petty comment about it being weak, honestly forcing the marble off the magnet cannon should cause the bridge piece to break but I wouldn't use that little green part that catches the marble you only get one or two of those but that's how you break them...being stupid. These are so awesome, I'm buying a bunch of them. I dont mind the cardboard base either, kids might damage them but they're fine for big 40 year old kids like me. Can't wait to get the vertical pro kits, get those out soon!!! ... show more

  • More than toys for 7 year-old kid
This was a Christmas gift for my 7 year-old son. He really liked it. It is a well designed toy. Actually, it is amazing to adults like me. My son and I can come up with a lot of ideas like combining this product with popular bricks (I don't use the product name here but you can easily guess). It gives my son a sense of how interesting and important the gravity is. Only drawback of it is that it's a bit expensive. There are some additional parts sold separately that look very interesting to play with but they are not cheap to buy. ... show more

  • NON-ELECTRONIC and MAKES KIDS THINK!!!
Looking for something my grandson and I could do together, as he is having a real bear of a time learning to fly drones. He is a STEM student and it is a challenge to find things that will make him use his head. Stumbled upon Gravitrax and figured, "Why not give it a try?" Now I have an 8-year old Gravitrax Ninja who won't stare at the TV, only uses a video game occasionally, and "Hey Grandpa! I figured out how to make the ball roll uphill!" We both enjoy playing with it and learning from it. I just wish the app had a version that could be downloaded to a laptop, because we have 4 of them and no tablets. Thanks Ravensberger! ... show more

  • Prefect present
I bought this for my 13 year old son. He has spent many hours making different tracks. I have also enjoyed spending time helping him build tracks. This is such a great product.
