Features

  • Neoprene Pouch
  • BAX-JAW SELF-LOCKING DESIGN: Use this powerful grip to anchor your boat. The Rangland kayak anchor grabs and tightly holds onto brush, tree branches, thick shore brush, or docking posts to keep your kayak or canoe from floating away.
  • CORROSION PROOF: Powder coated with stainless steel hardware will hold up in salt water conditions.
  • MULTI USE: The 15-foot reinforced 550 paracord allows for plenty of reach, and the wide jaw clamp opens 50% wider than standard models (5.25 inches) making it easy to secure on virtually every docking surface.
  • FLOATING SLEEVE: The included floating neoprene carrying bag will float even with the kayak grip inside and has a reflective light strip for visibility, ensuring that it doesn't get lost if it falls into the water or scratch your boat.
  • Backed by the Rangland Limited Lifetime Guarantee.

  • Good quality
I have used a different brand for my jon boat and loves them. I recently left one hooked to a tree and forgot to retrieve it. I bought this brand and the quality is way better than the other brand. I also love the wider jaw as it gives me more options of trees and roots to anchor to. The teeth on these are also sharper and give a better hold. ... show more

  • Great device
We bought this for the kayak, it is wonderful to be able to latch on to some large tree branches without damaging them.

  • Does what is says it will
Appears to be a quality product, and it worked as intended, on my first kayak trip using it. Nice that the carrying bag has a clip to attach it to the kayak as well.

  • The device itself is nice, but the bag an carabiner are not great.
The anchor itself is quite nice. It holds onto smaller stumps and trees really well, and its even proven to be helpful in holding my kayak close to my wife's while taking a break on the water. I don't have any issue with the anchor necessarily. However, the accompanying products were less than stellar. The carabiner is all but useless. Its tiny, and the spring is weak. It would be far more beneficial to include a larger carabiner to be able to tie off to with the included paracord. The pouch fits the product, but the zippers aren't the greatest. The seams of the bag are already busting. If you are going to have a top notch product, everything that accompanies it should be just as high quality and useful. ... show more

  • These work great!
I finally got around to testing. I bought 2 of these and they work great! They hold my 14' jon boat to the bumpers, piers, and mangroves. They have a great holding features. The clamp is very strong! Added bonus, they come with a carrying case. I highly recommend these.

  • People cry just to cry
I don’t know what everyone is crying about. It’s a great product all around. The carabiner appears to be of good useable quality and the neoprene storage bag appears to be of good quality as well. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but like I said it appears to be of good quality. I’d recommend this product. ... show more

  • Accurate description,
Everything matched the listing. Only thing I didn’t like was the paracord just ends. It’s just ran thru the clamp and that’s it so you have to tie it off to something or put a clip in it or whatever you prefer. Other than that it’s great.

  • Has a grip!
Holds very well on tree branches. Sure it works great on other stuff too but that's all I tried so far. Only thing keeping it from being a 5 star item is the rope. Way too short for me. I added 8 feet to it and probably will replace the whole rope with something longer and stronger.
