  • Brilliant design, straps have plenty of length.
Size: Medium Style: Ranger Og - Black
Very well designed saddle bag, I packed in everything that it is made for plus a few extra small items. I was using the Ortlieb Micro 2 for a few years but recently it fell off my bike a couple of times after I forgot to make sure it clicked in. I also was tired of fumbling around trying to pull out what I needed if I had to make an adjustment or fix a flat mid ride so I started looking for a more secure and organized option. I tried a few different saddle rolls and they were all terrible, all of them had very thin straps so the bag would slip through and swing around under my saddle, why they weren't designed with a loop at or near the bottom to feed one of the straps through to prevent this is beyond me. I wasn't stuffing anything more than I am putting in the Speedsleev so those products were not designed correctly. The Speedsleev has very wide, secure straps so even the worst roads will not shake it loose, I've read some poor reviews saying they are not long enough but I have plenty of overlap so it appears that problem was corrected. I may have preferred a buckle of some kind rather than hook and loop closures but that's being extremely picky, assuming it wears out over time I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these. I also appreciate how light and unobtrusive the Speedsleev is, I think it is about 80 grams lighter than the Ortlieb bag I was using and my legs haven't come into contact with it. I'm sure it is much more aerodynamically positioned as well, I'll take any marginal gain I can get. ... show more

  • Only the basics, no extras
Size: Medium Style: Ranger 2.0 - Grey
It appears to be good quality. I like that it’s velcro and not a zipper. It is however a very tight fit. It has one main pouch and a flap that wraps around it with 3 pocketsbbuilt into it. The flap has one large pocket that fits a Crankbrothers M19 nicely. The two other pockets can fit a 16g CO2 in each or one tire lever in each. It’s not large enough to fit two Pedros tire levers… so I put one in each. The main component has a 700c tube for a gravel bike, two CO2, an inflator, with a tire boot and a pre glued tire patch squeezed in. It’s at max capacity with all that. I’m sure a smaller inflator head would help…. otherwise, not much more I could do to save room. ... show more

  • Small bag that holds more than it looks like it can
Size: Medium Style: Ranger 2.0 - Grey
I love this smallish saddlebag. I have to ride with an inhaler and an Epipen and have been carrying those in a saddlebag to ensure that they are always on-hand, but eventually I moved them to a small bag that I carry to allow for a smaller saddlebag. In this bag, I carry a tube, CO2, valve tool for the CO2, multitool, tire lever, core remover, quick link, tire boot, probably something else I'm forgetting, and there's room to spare. The design has small pockets that wrap around a main compartment (where the tube is) and a few small side pockets that flank the main one. 2 tubes would be a stretch that I don't think it can pull off, but there's plenty of room for more C02 or other similarly sized items. It also tucks neatly under the seat post and isn't obtrusive. The design that wraps velcro straps around it in 2 directions makes the bag more compact when it isn't completely full. 5/5 stars. ... show more

  • Great little bag; actually holds more than I expected
Size: Medium Style: Ranger Og - Black
Because of the way I fit on my bike, I really can't have a bag that wraps around my seatpost. This just hangs from the seat and actually sits very well there. I have no concerns about this falling off or wobbling around too much. Keep in mind though - it IS small. But it has little pockets which help keep everything organized. I managed to get in here: - a spare tire (road bike) - one canister of air - air adapter - three tire levers - small roll of emergency tape - crank brothers multipurpose tool - $10 bill Now, those items are JAMMED in there and put there very methodically. But these are emergency tools. It will take me a few minutes to get everything back in there should I ever need it, but that's a price I'm willing to pay for its small size and sleekness. ... show more

  • Best seat pack! Works with dropper posts!
Size: Medium Style: Ranger Og - Black
The best saddle bag i've come across. No zipper to dry out, get stuck or break. No velcro around the seatpost (works with my dropper post just fine). Plenty of room for MTB trail stuffs: 2x20g threaded CO2 & head, 1 tire lever wrapped with some tape, Crank Bros 19 tool, tubeless plug kit, lightweight 26" presta tube (which works for 27.5 or 29), spare link, spare derailleur hangar, spare valve core, tire boot material with a bit of room to spare. It wraps around seat rails very securely and compresses nicely-no rattles. It looks pretty small when attached to saddle considering all that it contains. The wide strap and good velcro seem quite secure but I still back it up with a toe strap for ease of mind. Easy on/off when needed. Water and muck proof. Probably going to get one for my road bike. ... show more

  • Minimalistic bag but consider moving up to the bigger ranger size if you need more space.
Size: Medium Style: Ranger Og - Black
Purchased the regular sized Ranger bag. Overall sturdy and good quality materials used. When your first receive it, you get a little scared thinking if your load out will fit. I’m guessing most people looked at the gallery with the pictures in it so they would have an idea. I also included a shot of what I “could” carry and it mounted on the saddle. With my load out I was about to stuff in a 700x19-26 48mm tube, 2x tire levers, tubeless bacon plug kit, co2 w/ sleeve, multi tool, co2 valve inflator, and another co2 canister (although I’d probably only carry 1). The way I got everything inside isn’t the “traditional” way of using the bag, where you should place the co2 canisters on the bottom, but hey, make it work however you want. On a side note, most people have cell phones and you’re definitely not going to fit in anything bigger than an iPhone 5s (not a very common phone that people have now a days). You’re better off putting your phone in your jersey pockets. Haven’t rode with it yet because I’m still recovering from a crash, but it looks very sturdy while on the saddle. Also let’s be real with expectations here, it’s Velcro, but it’s higher quality. Most Velcro has a lifespan as far as opening and closing as it will wear down and will no longer close. I’m gonna assume this will last a long time anyways. Hopefully this was helpful :) ... show more
