Long Jacket is a longer version of Rain’s classic design, Jacket. This ever- contemporary unisex rain jacket delivers high functionality in a minimal silhouette. Features include double welded slanting flap pockets, adjustable cuffs and a fishtail hem. The look is finished with snap fastenings, under-arm eyelets, and a back yoke with concealed vents. This waterproof jacket is cut from Rains’ signature PU fabric and features ultrasonically welded seams. The finish is lightweight with a soft feel and elegant drape.

Fits well, keeps the rain off, very light and packable. My only negative is the very strong (rather bad) smell that the coat has when you first take it out of the packaging. Fabric is waterproof so feels a bit rubbery…but that’s to be expected. Truly, it’s a very nicely shaped jacket, longer tail, slightly tapered. Comfortable (my experience it’s not breathable but it could be I run a bit warmer than other women). This is a really nice lightweight rain shell!

    • Too bad pockets are so awkward
Great design if not for the ugly, badly-placed flap pockets. If tis had side slit pockets that could hold hands for resting and warming, and were more easily reached without bending over, it would be great!
