This review is after 6 weeks of mostly daily use. This weighted vest is a nice inexpensive addition to my workout routine. The weights are removable and can be added to the front and/or the back so you can adjust your load to the workout you're doing. I do Tabata workouts (like HIIT) and since this routine incorporates exercises like sit-ups, crunches and bicycles, adding the weight to only the front of the vest works great for me and I can lay my back flat on the floor for these exercises. I'm currently only using 12lbs in the front of the vest. I've never used the vest with weights in the back. There's always some shifting that occurs with weighted vests. This vest uses Velcro straps with no elastic so there's been an occasion or two where the strap has popped off when I jump. Of course the con with elastic straps is that they will eventually over-stretch so I don't see this as a total negative and rather just an annoyance. I think a longer vest might be better where it tightens to your waist. This vest allows for adjustment to lower the weights - I've tried that and it's just not long enough to use your waist as an anchor. Pros: adjustable weights add weight to the front and/or back very tough material full range of motion - easy to do any exercise with it on Cons Velcro strap can pop off This is the best tool I've added to my workouts since slam balls.

This is THE best value. I can’t say enough good things about this. The price is a steal, so you might want to get it before they find out people will pay more for it ;) The construction is top notch, very secure and lots of options for adjustments. These options also give way for how you prefer to put the vest on and take it off. Also great for multiple users. My husband and I discovered this after he opened it like a Christmas present and immediately got into it! The weights being included is again, a great value. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Highly recommend you get this one, since you’re looking. (this is an unsolicited, real review. that’s how much we like it)

I love got this weighted vest. It’s my new best friend. We go everywhere together. Fits perfect. Nice and snug so it don’t move around when your running or doing push ups. I’m 5’10 195lbs and there’s still room to adjust it if u need it bigger. The weights fit into the slots tightly so they don’t move around. Weight distribution is perfect. I used half the weights to start and it’s enough for right now but have extras to add when I’m ready. I did a lot of research before I bought this one. It’s highly recommended. Thank you Rage sports.

Missing 6 weights. Supposed to have 12 weights according to description. Only came with 6 Update 6/27/21. Contacted Rage customer support by phone and email. They said just return to Amazon and get another. I also found some ankle weights at a yard sale that will fit. Since I like the vest I will likely keep it as upgrade plus 1 star to 3 stars

Love the fact that the weights are metal, not bags of sand. Materials seem sturdy. The big issue is the fact that the vest comes as 2 separate pieces (front and back) that connect with velcro strips on the shoulders and a standalone velcro strap that wraps around the waist. It would be better if either the shoulders were permanently connected or the waist strap was fixed on the back so you can wrap it around the front to be as tight or loose as you want it. In its current configuration, it is very difficult to put it on and make it fit properly without the help of another person, and several iterations of making adjustments. Returned this and bought the CAP Barbell Adjustable vest, which it much easier to get on and fit it by yourself.

I use this mostly for calisthenics and a little bit of running/hiking. It add that extra bit of challenge I feel that my workouts need at the moment. It is easy to move around in and I feel the weight is distributed well.
