I didn’t use the bottom plate because we live in Florida where we often have pretty severe storms so I opted to use a heavier umbrella base inside the table, it fit perfectly. This item arrived quickly and it good shape, although it was missing the center plastic housing for the umbrella hole plug. I contacted the seller regarding the omission and I have been promised a replacement. We will see. It matches my other fake wicker patio furniture very well. It's seems pretty sturdy with a good weight to it and was easy to put together (I'm a 65 yo woman and didn't have any trouble with it). It's a nice size side table. I am planning on putting bricks in the bottom to add to the stability as other reviewers have suggested; however, it has been in use for a couple of weeks and hasn't had any issues (and living in FL we have frequent doozies of thunderstorms!) I would definitely recommend it. I like having the umbrella as part of the seating group and not standing off to the back or side. ... show more

Great little table. I use the under storrage for my chair covers when in use. Looks like the picture. Quick assembly except for the fact that the last set of screw holes didn't line up well but I made it work.

I love this little table. It is perfect for what I needed it for. I have very low patio chairs and couldn't find a fire pit that wasn't 24 inches tall and a million dollars. I decided to look for a small table with an umbrella hole and get a tabletop fireplace. This table was so easy to put together, I put it together by myself in 15 minutes. Other reviews mentioned the holes not lining up but that's because they tightened the screws too tight before they got everything put together. If the hole doesn't line up, losen your screws. It is very sturdy and looks much more expensive than it was. I don't know how it would hold up to the weight of an umbrella but it was perfect for the fireplace. ... show more

Had one bought another. These little tables are great. They are a bit tricky to put together yourself as the last one was off a bit and the holes didn't line up on attaching the top. As for sturdy yes they are, but keep in mind that if you plan to use an umbrella with them you will have to add lots of weight inside to keep it upright in windy conditions. I like the slotted top so water will drain through instead of standing and drying in a foggy mess like other tables do. ... show more

This table is super easy to assemble, it’s sturdy made of quality materials and looks great. I got it to go next to my lounge chair and it’s the perfect size. The storage area is only really useful for small things that you can get in and out easily by reaching through the opening. I don’t need it for storage so it works perfectly for me.
