Well, where to begin... The aluminum protecting the cores is very thin and damages easily. It did arrive un-damaged, but took a few dings and dents upon instillation... And below, you'll see why... As for how it fit... It was far from a perfect fit. 1. We needed to cut away some of the metal on the included mounting brackets 2. As well as a small portion of metal in the inside front driver side of my hummer for it to fit. 3. The little l brackets the fan shroud fits into broke off, 4. and the fan shroud needed to be slightly modified to fit in the top center. 5. The original bracket on the top of the radiator doesn't sit flush, so we had to improvise and add some tubing in it to hold it in place. All the hoses and connections fit, but it definitely needed some modifications to fit just right. What would have been an hour or two, took close to 4 hours. Overall it is a much better made radiator then what is stock. We did get it to fit with a few modifications. Was it worth it? Eh... To be seen. Defitatly shed some blood sweat and tears over it. ... show more

    • Fitment issues with an 06 2.8 colorado
I like that it increases the coolant capacity to a little over 2 gallons. The fitment needs work. The mounting dowels should be adjustable. One side would not seat at all. The tabs for the condenser are too low and the top bolt hole placement is non existent. You have to cut the sides off the old radiator adapter, switch sides, trim them down and bolt them to the front support. The factory fan shroud tabs are a joke. Shroud placement is awful and I will need to make a custom shroud. When I went to open the top tab up to sit the shroud in place it snapped off. I applied very little pressure to it and it poped off. A custom shroud or an adapter for the old one will need to be made. For now the truck is running with no shroud but with a heavy duty fan clutch and a shimmed thermostat. It's doing the job but just so. I had to leave it set up like this for now as the truck has to do a 6 hour trip and the old radiator has failed. ... show more

    • What I ordered was not the same as the picture
Radiator did not come with side pins for installation. It has drill slots to bolt on brackets, which did not come with radiator.
