Purchased this on a whim as it struck a chord with me. The style of the watch, the blue dial, and bezel, really got me interested in looking at it. I bought it as a "try before you buy" so that I could really take a close look at it, and examine it front to back. The level of detail and quality is there, but the Powermatic 80...not so much. It is a workhorse in the industry and it does have a great power reserve, but it runs 15-16 seconds fast a day. So, I'm on the fence as to keep it or not. I still have a few more days to consider it... Here's a follow-up to my original post. I was incorrect in stating that this was a, Try before you Buy, purchase. Apparently, you can only have items totaling approximately $365 to do this. I, of course, was way over that amount, so it was a full purchase with the option to return the watch within 30 days. So what I've found since my original posting is that the watch continues to run fast by about 15 seconds a day. It also will only run for approximately 50 hours, way short of the stated 80 hours. I'm still on the fence about returning it...I love the look, but the movement is disappointing, still. ... show more
