If you want a sitting/standing desk that doesn't cost a lot this one is for you. The rustic finish is amazing. I have had this table for almost 6 months. It was very easy to assemble, instructions were very clear. I work at this desk for 5-6 days a week, 8+ hours a day and it goes from 29" to 40" several times each day. I have not have an issue with it. Desk is very sturdy. The only problem I had, and this is most likely a user error, is programming the 4 buttons. I was able to get button 1 set for 29" and button 4 set for 40". I could not figure out how to program button 2 or 3. This is not a huge deal to me since I only need two buttons for my sitting height and standing height. You can see the line where the two pieces of the desk meet and it used to slightly bother me but I got used to it. Really not a huge deal. I have the 48x24 desk now, its a good size for two laptops an a headset dock. Not much room for anything else, but I only needed to accommodate those items. I will be purchasing a larger one soon to accommodate more items. ... show more

I like this desk. It performs quite well. Smooth, quiet travel. It's a bit wobbly. I'm a leg-shaking type of person and when i shake my leg, it bounces my monitors slightly, which is something annoying that i did not anticipate, but was able to remedy with a hex key. I'd say it's about as wobbly as you would expect from two-legged desks. The assembly was designed so well that i didn't even need to look at the included instructions. It's quite simple and self-explanatory. I knew what needed to be done at a glance. There are only two types of bolts included. Eight long bolts for the feet and everything else is fastened using the same, short socket-head cap screws using an included Allen wrench. As for quality control, the two bolt holes that are provided to mount the control pad were not perfectly aligned, causing the control pad to look a little goofy, but this is not important to me. I much prefer it to the desk i was using before, which was an incredibly sturdy drafting table, but the height of it required a chair that is not very versatile ... show more

Expectations were somewhat low going in but this thing delivers. There are a couple of things to pay attention to when it comes to assembly (as seen in some of the other reviews that clearly were assembled wrong) but they are generally well pointed out in the instructions. It is super solid, super smooth and quiet going up and down and looks pretty good. The two cons are 1. it's made out of sections and the veneer pattern does not match between them (only applies to the wood pattern color) and 2. it gives an error if going too low on it but very easy to fix with the reset buttons (without losing memory settings). It also really benefits from running a furniture repair marker (or black sharpie for the black color) along the edges of each section where the top veneer meets the side part since it has some white gaps that are a bit unsightly. ... show more

I’m giving this one star because less than a year and a half after purchase, the height-adjustment motor failed. I’ve contacted Amazon multiple times as well as the product manufacturer, and no one has responded. I’m now entering my second year trying to get support with zero follow-up. While the desk itself is a solid product, the customer service is unacceptable. If anything goes wrong, you’re on your own. To make matters worse, the power controller is so proprietary that there’s no replacement available online. You can’t repair it, you can’t replace it, and you can’t get help. This has been extremely frustrating. My rating will remain one star until someone actually responds and provides a real resolution. ... show more
