Fantastic display and button-ology. Only gripe is… The 3.5 plug for supposedly external speaker/PA speaker… How can external speaker and PA speaker be one of the same?     • Good base quality - Look at the Pro model if you've got a little bit more to spend
The CB-606 is a good quality base model if you're looking to toss a CB into your vehicle. You'll of course need an antenna but the overall install is quick and easy. This model is only set for 12V connections so it's something to consider when you're looking at options. But if you've got the 12V setup, and don't live in a crazy hot area. If you've got a little more to spend I would look at getting the CB-606 Pro model. As for this one after a quick setup, it's still a solid little unit. With our antenna we're getting good range between the cars and I'm a lot more secure when it comes to if we need to bug out because of wildfires we don't have to worry about having cell signal or not. We can keep in contact the whole time. The mic is a little meh feeling but the radio overall is solid. I do like the better heat dissipation that you get with the PRO model but if you're not living in the South this is likely fine for the car. ... show more

This is a great little CB radio — the larger screen is easy to read and looks sharp. It fits perfectly in the center console of my Jeep, which makes it ideal for off-road use and away from prying eyes with sticky fingers. The mic works fine, though I do wish it was a bit larger for better grip. Overall, solid performance and great value.     • Failed soon after install.
This CB Radio failed to receive two weeks after being installed. Everyone could hear me, but I couldn't hear them. It says its too late to return it but I hope I'm not stuck with this brick.

    • Great, simple radio, easy to read display, intuitive interface
I like this little CB radio. It doesn't conform to the "classic" CB style, which is a good thing in my opinion. The controls are practical and easy to figure out, the sounds is clear and loud and it feels solid and durable. The reception is clear in both FM and AM modes and it actually seems a little more sensitive that my other radio, though that could be differences in the antenna setup. I will note, that the speaker is on the under-side of the unit. This works great once it's mounted, but if you're just setting it on the seat or on another surface to use it you need to prop it up a bit. I love that the squelch is a dial, not a button and it allows quick toggle between traditional squelch and ASQ. This will be traveling with me for a long time. ... show more
