Easy to put together, the instruction manual is very detailed. It only took about 5-10 minutes to put it together. It works great my kid loves it. This tricycle is very sturdy and strong. Bought this for my grandson that turns 2 this week. Will see how long it lasts with his use. Assembly isn't bad if you have the right tools. Not sure how they expect people to assemble these with pliers or a Crescent wrench. I'd recommend a good #2 Phillips screw driver, a needle nose pliers to locate the nut on the screw under the rear step on the main frame, 11mm open end wrench to hold the nuts at the bottom of the main frame, and a 13mm 1/4" drive socket and ratchet to tighten the pinch bolt on the handle bar/fork connection. I can see where people have had issues with getting the pinch bolt at the handle bar joint, especially if they are trying to use pliers to do it. The frame work does not seem as heavy as the ones I remember from my youth. Noticed an area of light paint under the rear step. Also the bell that is included I doubt will last long at all since it's basically plastic construction except for the actual bell part. ... show more

Wasn’t hard to put together by myself. Cute and perfect size for little ones. My son is a tad too young to ride by himself but still gets a kick out of being pushed around in it. Definitely solid, well made trike.
