I read all the negative comments of how it does not float and how it is uncomfortable. I love this rope and handle! I have been skiing for over 30 years and yes it does float and my favorite thing is how comfortable the handle is. With solid rubber handles my arms get fatigued easily. This handle is soft and absorbs hard pulls on turns making it so much more enjoyable. I was on the fence with this one and HO. nice handle for beginners. i thought i could use something like this. however, the grip texture does not offer ANY grip in gloves and i ski with gloves. also, 15" is a hugely wide handle. a bit overkill for a seasoned slalom skier. also, nearly impossible to make quick handle changes between skiers... ... show more

    • All I want is a rope that floats!

This was a great floating ski rope until one of the foam floats came off after about the fourth ski outing with it. It hung toward the surface by the foam float on the other side. After another 5 or so outings, the other one came off. They both split lengthwise and left the rope as a non-floating ski rope, which make it very tricky to find when you're in the water. I’ve been skiing for years and I could barely hang on with this handle. While skiing my forearms were burning and were sore for days. We replaced it with the handle from our old rope.
