When it arrived I immediately inflated it and let it sit for a day to make sure it did not leak. There are 3 tubes that need to be filled and there is no directions in the owners manual on the order they should be filled. I filled the center tube first followed by the two side tubes. The main tube has a speed safety valve which works ok but it is difficult to remove for deflation. The side tubes have stem valves which also work ok. I would prefer the Boston valve because they are easier to use and are less likely to break over time with continued use. My 2 passenger tube has a single strap coming from the bottom to attach the tow rope. It also does not have the kwik connect tow system that is documented in the owners manual. The diagram in the owners manual shows two straps for the tow system. I wonder if this is just a design change for the smaller tube (2 rider) version. From the user manual showing the two strap version: "The tow system should only be used as shown in the diagram. Towing from the top or bottom strap alone will cause the tube to function incorrectly and may risk damage to the cover or tube. Damage caused by improper use will void your warranty." I would have liked the two seater tube to have the kwik connect tow system, two straps for the tow connection set up, and Boston valves on every tube to facilitate inflation/deflation. ... show more

The price is excellent for this tube. The quality is great! The tube plains nicely and it is a good stable, yet fun ride. Its conservative enough for the younger kids, but can eaily be towed in a manner that provides fun for the older kids. I towed the older kids at 20 mph and they had a blast. I want to alert the buyer to one thing: If you look closely at the photo, there is a black loop on the front at the bottom. That is for attaching the tow rope. What you do not see is a "kwik connect" on this tube. A kwik connect is much easier to deal with. I recommend that you buy it for this tube. They are easy to install; you just pass the harness through the loop on the tube and then make a loop with the harness and pass the white connector through the loop you just made. Then, you connect your tow rope to the white part. I was disappointed when I got mine and realized that it didn't have the kwik connect harness already attached, as some hotdogs do, thus the 4 stars vice 5. ... show more

We made so many memories this summer on vacation with your double dog. I am not sure which was more fun, riding it, or making hot dog jokes watching the riders. Especially great for my niece and nephew, ages 7 and 10. They were a good weight for it and it wasn't quick to buck them off. The adults had fun on it, too, it's just a very tight fit for two adults. You are sitting really close and i was worried about knocking my teeth into the back of the head of the person in front of me! It is hard/impossible to get back on it while you're in the water, so you have to carefully get on it from the boat. Not the easiest. I think I fell off more than once just trying to get on it. Definitely not the water toy for unstable people! It was very good quality as was the rope I ordered with it. I was surprised at the quality of the material of the double dog. It's not just plastic. We bought this for lake fun, as an alternative to a round tube where you lay on it. So far, it has been used by 2 adults and a couple tweens. Everyone seems to enjoy it, but space it tight with 2 people so most of the time someone just rides solo. I bought a quick connect at the recommendation of another reviewer, since this just has a loop for which to connect your rope. BUT, it works better without the quick connect, because it just sprayed the rider in the face the whole time as the quick connect hit the water. And, while it is fun to ride, it is difficult to get back on it after falling off. For most people, they had to go to the boat ladder and platform to get back on. ... show more

The box shows 2 people on it it’s barely big enough for 1. The air inlet moves and ends up under the outside canvas so you can’t deflate it. For the price I didn’t expect the highest quality but I expected better.

Some gave bad reviews. I was worried. Mine is very sturdy. I am not a small person. I am over 50. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get on it. What I did was buy a 2 person with the intention I would ride alone. And it WORKED !! I jumped off the boat and kinda did a belly flop on it while grabbing the handle. I then pulled myself up to a kneeling position. I rode like rodeo star. Again I am not athletic at all. I I can do it you can to. I’m very pleased with it. ... show more
