So far I'm really happy with this movable stand. I purchased the HomeTro walking pad from Amazon, not realizing it didn't come with any kind of bar and with my inner ear issues I need something to touch or hold every so often while walking on a treadmill. It took about a week to get here but that's understandable considering it's weight. It was extremely easy to put together and feels quite sturdy. The table top has plenty of room and the rubber pad keeps anything from rolling or sliding around. There's plenty of space for a laptop, a large water bottle, a large book, etc. I don't like that the cup holders are in the front, I wish they were towards the back but it's not a big deal. I'll probably keep my cup on the table top and use the cup holders for my remotes. Speaking of the table top, it raises and lowers very easily. You push the two blue buttons and pull or push, up or down and it locks into place. The wheels roll really well, even on carpet which is what mine is sitting on. I'm a little concerned with the wheels because there's only 3 instead of 4 but if anything I could remove the wheels altogether and it'll be a bit more stable. Price-wise it's a little expensive but considering everything else that was cheaper either looked like junk or wasn't what I wanted, it's worth it when you find what you're looking for. This was exactly what I wanted when searching for a universal treadmill stand-bar. Definitely recommend, 10/10. ... show more

This is a GREAT substitute for the Wahoo desk. I was a little worried by some of the other reviews but thought I would take a chance. Needless to say, I won't be returning this. Here is why I gave it 5 stars: 1. It is easy to assemble and the tools needed were included included. 2. It is a quality product. From the steel base to the arms to the tray, it is solid. 3. Good value. I haven't tried the Wahoo version but this does everything I need for one third the price. 4. Features....the desk pad is soft and grippy, height is easily adjustable, 2 cup holders, tablet/phone stands, wheels lock ... show more

Very sturdy and a nice surface when using the trainer

During the rainy or cold seasons I train indoors because I'm far too much of a wimp to ride in the rain or freezing cold. It's also nice to be able to catch up on recorded shows, streaming series, or e-books - all of which you can do with this adjustable platform. When I first started putting this together I was really worried about the stability with only 3 points of contact. In fact, as I was assembling it the wobble seemed like it was going make this a non-starter before I even got a chance to use it. I needn't have worried. Once all three wheels are on and the entire platform is assembled it's very sturdy. The locking wheels are super nice to keep the whole thing from rolling away from you. I haven't had a chance to use this with my rollers yet, but I have been using it for a little over a month with my direct drive trainer and it's a game changer. I can set up my iPad to be right in front of me along with the TV remote and water bottle. All of them are easily accessible. I can pull up an e-book on my iPad and easily pass the training time reading. The non-slip surface makes sure that even the wildest touch is not going to send the iPad skittering off the platform. I'll give this a try with my rollers when I go back to using them and I'm sure it will be great (I would recommend not attempting to use this with rollers until you are confident and don't ride off the rollers). I used to have to put my iPad on a table that was out of reach, but those days are in the past. I have no qualms at all about recommending this for anyone using an indoor trainer. If you have some jenky set up that you're using right now, maybe a TV tray table or something similar, you will absolutely love this adjustable platform. Still expensive, but probably worth it...

Like others, I had looked long and hard at the $250 alternative. It's possible that the Wahoo version is somehow superior, but I can't imagine it's twice-the-price superior. The footprint of the desk is larger than I thought it would be, but that's only a negative because I'm operating out of a small space. The instructions for assembly are rubbish (why do the castors have that nut on the bolt? Is it for leveling? Do I need it? - these questions will never be answered), but the overall assembly is pretty easy to figure out. Here's one thing - I originally put it together with the "Rad" stickers on the inside of the table legs - the legs seem to be completely identical so I really didn't think it mattered. The problem was that when pushing the buttons to lift the desk, one side stuck a little, you had to put your foot on the base to pull the desk up. No big deal. But just for the heck of it I took it apart and put it back together the "right" way. Now the push-and-lift system works perfectly. Does that mean the legs are slightly different and designed to be on either the right or the left? If that were the case don't you think the "instructions" would point that out? I still doubt it makes any difference one way or the other, but if you run into a sticky-up problem, you might want to give swapping the legs a shot. The only other minor quibble is that the slots that hold up your phone or tablet (which work fine for me whether or not I have a case on) have these cut-outs in the bottom - I suppose that's so you can run a power cord through them? Great idea! Except that I don't have a single micro-USB or iPad lightning cable that will fit through the cut-outs. I'll probably end up melting or breaking out some material because I really could use some power when running apps on a three hour ride. ... show more

I was a little worried about two things - but both were non-issues once I received this. 1 - many complaints about assembly and the buttons not aligning - it's user error. I had no problem getting this assembled and nicely aligned. Get everything lined up where it should be before you do the final tightening - it works fantastically. 2 - I wasn't sure how far I could bring it back over my bike on the trainer - but indeed, I can raise it over my handlebars and bring the tray back close enough to sit with a vertical upright posture and type on my laptop. This has been game changing to allow me to multitask work while doing lower intensity longer endurance rides - and really paid off when I hit the road this spring! Highly recommended - while I love my Wahoo Bolt and KICKR, their desk price is just obscene compared to this! ... show more

Like many other reviewers, I was pretty resistant to paying well over $200 for the Wahoo equivalent cycling table. This one came well packaged (see photo) and was very easy to assemble. Everything was nicely aligned so I had absolutely no issues with fit or finish. I agree that the stickers look pretty cheesy and I'll remove and replace them with something else. Other reviewers had noted that they were unable to get power cords through the front and back slots. Well, my MacBook Pro charger just barely fit and so did my iPhone charger (see photos). Clearly you cannot get a USB plug through the slots or a power cord. But that seems to be not an issue because those can just hang off the rear. The table is sturdy, moves well on the small rubberized wheels and the locking mechanisms (not available on the Wahoo) for the two rear wheels work well. All in all a nice purchase...time to get riding! ... show more

Not the Easiest to Assemble. Difficult to Adjust Buttons. Guaranteed to Rust Over Time

UPDATED REVIEW: After using it for a week, I'd give it an extra star (Originally rated 2 stars). It's not perfect (especially at the price point), but it works as a spin bike desk. I've managed to practice Rosetta Stone, play PS4, and work **************************************** Bought this table, because I wanted to work and "work out" on my Lifecycle GX spin bike. This table was recommended. The worst part about this table is the assembly. the legs and adjustment bars are fine. But it is very difficult to get the buttons to line right on the table. The directions aren't specific about how to make sure they can easily slide up and down. On the plus side, the "grippy" material is pretty good on the actual table part of this desk. Unfortunately, with this table being your garden variety steel, it's not likely to have any longevity and will rust over time (especially if you seriously work out and sweat over it). Unfortunately, the options for such a desk are slim and it seems like most bike desk vendors are focused on making desk accessories for the peloton. Hoping to see more viable options for spin bike/ bike trainer users who don't own the peloton. Still deciding if I should keep it or not. Will test it for a week before I make a final decision.
