Used a wrench to quickly change it from a Snapit 2.0 to the narrower Snapit systems. It snaps on and off easily. I wish it were a tad lighter, but steel is steel and it should be pretty durable. My only issue is that the holes in the basket sides are smaller in diameter than the prongs of my bungee cords. It would have been nice to have a larger hole here and there to use with bungee cords. Specialized comes with a rack time rack. Okay cool. What is uncool is you have no idea what basket to buy that fits the rack properly and then no one to call. Very frustrating.

I recently purchased a Specialized brand Vado 3.0 eBike which came with a narrow Racktime luggage rack preinstalled. I anticipate using the ebike for short local errands and needed a way to carry a few groceries home. The basket came ready to attach to a wider Racktime rask. I found instructions online for using a wrench and turning each of the 4 attachment points inward. Moderate pressure, followed by a click and each attachment point rotated into the inner position. After that the basket quickly mounted to the rack, firmly locking into place. I found I could also remove it, rotate the basket 180 degrees and attached again. I plan to use a couple of small bungee cords to keep items in place. ... show more
