Changing brushes is literally a snap. Instead of loosening the drill chuck each time you need to change a brush, simply pull the axle from the handle, change the brush and snap it back in. It’s my first season working in the repair shop at my home mtn of 30 years. I purchased because the shop doesn’t have one and I only snowboard. I saw other sets available with a 3rd brush option (cork or brass) for 1/2 the price I paid for these, but the brushes are only 100 or 150 mm wide. And I could have used that set on my 20+snowboards, but I don’t ski. This set performs like you hope it will. I’ve used it numerous times with flawless results. The guard is removable. I wrote “mask on” on my guard as a reminder. No need to breathe atomized wax particles. I consider this a pricey investment as far as tuning gear goes. If you do a handful of tunes per season, it may not be warranted. If you have 20+snowboards in your quiver (plus gear for your four kids), it’s well worth the purchase.
