So effective. Installed easily on entrance corners of my long hallway runner. I did clean with alcohol both the floor and the rug. This is a challenging application because the entryway has a difference in floor levels which always cause the runner to move forward. I have tried rug tape which didnt work and left a nasty residue. I have tried the rug nonslip "pads"-useless. But this has worked so well. Cant speak to longevity or removal or cleaning. At this point I dont care. I just want something that keeps the runner from creeping and these guys have more than fulfilled that need/goal. Good stuff. Thank you manufacturer and seller. I really only needed two but I got twelve. Who needs twelve. But I am so happy that these WORK.

I wanted to give this product 5 stars because so far its been working great. However I after receiving the item I discovered it says not to use it for all types of backings so just pay attention to that before you buy and make sure your rug is compatible.

Triangles are labeled “rug side” and “floor side” so very easy to install. They adhere perfectly and my small area rugs no longer move. I have no idea how easy they are to remove if I decide to move the rugs. I am guessing I would have to get new triangles if I remove the rug to clean the floor underneath the rug. For now I will leave them put and clean around and over the rugs, not underneath. It is nice that the rugs no longer move around throughout the day. I did not bother with rugs that have furniture over them. Left those alone.

I like how sticky they seemed when I put them on but I had a problem getting it to stick to the back of my rug. I have rugs from Ruggable and alrhough they are staying in place better than before, I’m not in love with them. They will do the trick for now.

When I removed the rug to wash it left a bit of sticky black residue on my floor. It came right up with Dawn power wash and a scrub daddy. I have bought them multiple times because they work so good. The did not leave any residue when I use them on a throw rug on top of a rug.

These stick pads fixed our problem. Our 8x10 area rug was always sliding, the kids kept pushing it running through the living room. Now it never moves or slides, it stays in place. They are running across, tumbling, cartwheeling across the rug and with these pads, the rug stays put! Very glad I got these.
