I've debated on whether to give a 4 star or 5 star review. For me personally, the only thing that I feel like could be improved, is to have gridline backing for easy straight cuts. I don't feel like that 1 thing should decrease a full star on my rating considering the product itself is good quality and does what it is supposed to.(Apparently they do have a couple window films that have the gridline backing. I just didn't realize it at time of purchase) The product itself is amazing and I'm very impressed on how easy it is to install and how well it stays put! It's a good quality product and I would recommend it to anyone. It looks elegant and gives me the privacy I was looking for. I live in an apartment complex and there is a walk way right next to my living room window. People walk past it several times a day. I've kept my blinds closed for 2 years so I could have privacy. This product has made me feel comfortable to have my blinds open to let natural light in, and still have my privacy. I would like to note, that when you install, if you find that part of the window film isn't sticking perfect like the rest, most likely, all the backing didn't peel off. I mention this because when I installed mine, the majority of the film was sticking perfectly, but in one area, it wouldn't stick well at all. After quite sometime of adding more water, taking off and reinstalling, I got frustrated and just taped up the corner that wouldn't stick. A few hours later, I tried again, that's when I realized that a portion of the backing didn't come off with the rest. After peeling off the piece that didn't come off with the rest, it went on easily and perfect!

I totally did not measure my window so i couldnt put this going up and down but i think it looks great going side to side! It blends pretty seamlessly even though i may have messed up a tiny bit. It was super easy to apply and i didnt use any special tools, just an old gift card and paper towels to smooth out the water! I really like this and it adds privacy with a vintage feel to my first floor bedroom!

I used this on some big patio doors, and I wondered whether it would tend to slump over time, especially since this pattern is textured, and therefore fairly thick. We've now had both hot weather and cold weather, and it's still perfect. I've used similar products on other windows, and in my experience it's better to carefully measure and cut to size before hanging, rather than try to trim the edges like wallpaper. This has increased my privacy a great deal, and cut the harsh glare reflecting of my neighbour's house, but it still lets in lots of light, and it does have a slight "rainbow" effect when the light hits it at some angles.

totally blacks out the window, was installed easily within 30 minutes. Renter friendly - all you need is water, scissors (utility knife extra useful but not 100% necessary) and a credit card or similar to help smooth out any bubbles. Material can stick to itself, so if you need multiple rows on the same window, you can overlap it rather than needing to make a perfect seam or risk a gap.

This is perfect for privacy and it’s very easy to install. For someone that doesn’t usually do creative projects like these I was amazed by how quick the set up was. This took me almost less than 5 minutes. The only problem I had was pushing out the water. I had to use a credit card since I didn’t want to waste my money on buying a squeegee kit. Some tips: Clean the window as instructed and dry it thoroughly, make sure you measure it correctly so you want use more than what’s necessary or so you won’t screw up and end up having less than necessary, USE A BOX CUTTER; it’s easier to cut the access amounts with a box cutter compared to a normal kitchen knife.
