This privacy film was easy to work with. As it says It does not block out all of the light, yet it provides a certain amount of obscurity for privacy. I put it on my kids windows as a way to allow light to come in without the neighbors having a view into my daughter room. However, the film is easily scratched. Be careful when applying. I would not apply with a card or anything hard.

Great product, install isn’t hard as long as you have the right tools and some patience lol First thing to do is measure the area where you will be applying the item. Once you have your measurement than add about an extra 3/4 -1 inch on each side. This gives you some room to play with and ensure an exact fit. Secondly, grab a spray bottle and fill with water and just a small amount of soap. I used dawn and literally just put a dot in there. Third make sure you have a squeegee, I used the command strip one that we had here and it worked perfectly. You can find it on amazon or local retailer. However make sure to have a good utility blade with a sharp or new blade, lastly i used a gift card and a straight 1 ft metal ruler as well. They both came in handy. Also make sure to have a towel! After you have everything ready, the first thing you need to do is clean the glass, I simply used some windex and then a microfiber cloth after just to pick up any dust. Next, which is probably one of the most annoying parts is separating the film. They say to use tape and pull apart, there’s no way haha I tried with plenty of strong tape and did nothing. all you can do is just use your nail on a corner and just keep trying to get that small little piece of separation and than pull it apart. After finally getting it off spray the smooth side with some soapy water and than a little bit on the glass. Align it up and put it on from top to bottom pressing down the middle. Spray some water on the film on the outside of it, grab your squeegee and start smoothing it out to get the majority of the bubbles out of the middle. Next take your ruler and blade and cut the extra film off. Take your time here. After you’ve got it off, I ended up spray some more water onto the film and went back to squeegeeing the remaining bubbles out. The gift card came in handy around the edges in the corners to push out the remaining water. Now it’s still going to look a little wet, it will dry overnight. But once your happy with the application, take your towel and gently wipe the film and dry it be careful on the corners and don’t push to hard. That’s it your all set. Two windows around the door took me about an hour and half to do. Overall, I’m very happy with the product and we love the look and it did exactly what we wanted it to do. Would definitely recommend and use it again if needed.

My recent encounter with the rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film left much to be desired, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product to others seeking window tinting solutions for their homes. First and foremost, the supposed "one-way" feature of the film fell short of expectations. Despite the product description promising privacy from the outside while maintaining visibility from the inside, the reality was far from it. Passersby and neighbors could easily see into the house, compromising the privacy of those inside. Furthermore, while the film claimed to block UV rays and control heat, its effectiveness in doing so was questionable at best. After applying the film to several windows in my home, I noticed little to no difference in temperature or UV protection. On hot, sunny days, the rooms still became uncomfortably warm, and the glare from the sun remained a constant nuisance. The installation process was another source of frustration. Despite following the instructions meticulously, I encountered numerous difficulties in applying the film to the windows. Air bubbles and wrinkles persisted even after multiple attempts to smooth them out, resulting in an unsightly and uneven appearance that detracted from the overall aesthetic of the windows. To make matters worse, the adhesive used in the film left behind a sticky residue on the windows, making them difficult to clean and maintain. Despite my efforts to remove the residue using various cleaning agents, it stubbornly clung to the glass, leaving an unappealing and unsightly finish. Overall, my experience with the rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film was thoroughly disappointing. From its lackluster privacy features to its ineffective UV-blocking and heat control properties, the product failed to deliver on its promises. Coupled with the challenging installation process and the lingering residue left behind, it was an overall frustrating and unsatisfactory purchase. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend the rabbitgoo Window Privacy Film to others in search of an effective and reliable window tinting solution for their homes. Save yourself the time, effort, and disappointment, and explore alternative options that deliver on their claims and provide a superior user experience.
