  • Simple, no leaks, old school
Simple, works like it should. No leaks after weeks of storage.

  • Nice tool
Had a self sealing can that would not dispense, used this and no problem. This cost less than replacing bad can.

  • Great little "cheat" around stupid new R134a valve cans.
Per usual the Government mandates new rules to screw things up that they know nothing about. "auto-sealing" R134a can valves. On a refrigerant that THEY mandated to replace, admittedly, a harmful R-12. By-pass the valve completely with this and save the money buying different adapters every 3 years. Works great and is simple-simon to rig up for any single charge size can. Yes even R-12 for my antiques. Durability is only issue I question as it seems flimsy but has lasted well so far. ... show more

  • R134a R12 can tap. Doesn't work with 3" diameter cans.
I was exited to receive this can tap so I could charge my R134a AC system. The can tap appears to be good quality with thick plastic to hold the can securely. The tap is sharp and large to provide good flow. There is also an adapter to allow use with smaller cans. Good quality at a low price. Only 1 con. The tool didn't accept my 3" diameter 12oz refrigerant can! I couldn't even use it. The can tap would still be perfect for smaller cans or oil injection so I still gave it a good rating! It just doesn't fit the outer diameter of the standard R134a can I needed it for. ... show more

If you look at the photo you will see the two half’s don’t line but and when on the can it doesn't compress the rubber seal. See photos also you can see how it crushed the can ... show more

  • Cheap quality but will work
