  • I hate how much I Love this dry shampoo
Size: 6.50 Ounce (Pack of 1)
It’s expensive but so worth it. Doesn’t smell anything like dry shampoo and goes on pretty clear. I’ll never buy another dry shampoo ever again.

  • strong fragrance
Size: 6.50 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This R+Co BLEU Retroactive Dry Shampoo doesn't leave behind any powder residue, but it also isn't super effective on very greasy-feeling hair. It's also strongly fragranced, and while the scent isn't bad, fragrance can be an issue for sensitive skin or noses.

  • Difficult to get powder to spray
Size: 6.50 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I've heavily debated how to rate this product. I mean, it's a dry shampoo, how hard can that be? Here's why... When I first received this, I shook the can as instructed. Sprayed it and nothing but very nice smelling aerosol came out. No powder whatsoever. Had it not been for the directions on the can that specifically state to ""use a hair dryer to disperse the powder"", I thought it was supposed to be invisible and assumed it just didn't work. I shook for a good minute. Sprayed, and nothing. Shook again another minute (seriously, I was determined to find out why this product is work the $52 price). I finally decided to just spray for what felt like forever and finally, something came out. At that point, my hair was sticky from what DID come out, so I had to wash my hair and try again another day. Second time, same thing happened (shake, shake, shake, spray). My hair was pretty sticky but I was finally able to get the powder to come out. The sections where I got it in my hair didn't seem to absorb the oiliness right away. I used the hair dryer, cool setting, as instructed. As moments passed, my hair actually looked better. So that was great, and I was happy with the result. What I didn't like is since I had to keep spraying, after I washed my hair and dried it, I still had residue! That's never happened with a dry shampoo. Now, I sprayed a ton trying to get it out, so that's why. I obviously got a bad batch but the product seems to work well. Not $52 worth in my opinion, as I've used others that absorb better for half that. I'm also not a fan of doing extra work like using the hair dryer beyond spray and brush. ... show more

  • Didn't last long
Size: 6.50 Ounce (Pack of 1)
With 4 kids I basically live off of dry shampoo. I've tried tons of different brands that promise to do different things and this unfortunately was no different. The spray goes on pretty wide and does turn white after leaving on for a minute, the directions say to use the cool setting of a blow dryer to disperse the powder which I did. I was still left with white colored roots compared to the rest of my hair. I tried brushing it out which helped a good bit but barely a few hours later my hair looked greasy again. I've had cheaper brands last longer and were easier to use. Wasn't the best for me. ... show more

  • Minimal white residue but doesn't absorb enough near my roots
Size: 6.50 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I have naturally wavy hair, so sometimes I style it wavy and sometimes I straighten it. Dry shampoo is always tricky for me, because any amount of white residue renders a product virtually unusable for me with my hair in its naturally wavy state, since I can't brush it through. I will say that this dry shampoo is better than many sprays I've tried when it comes to the white residue problem. I don't know if the ingredients are different or if they're milled finer, or maybe both? But the result is that it's fairly effective with minimal whiteness left behind. I still prefer to use this (and any other spray) on my hair when it's been straightened, but this did fairly well on my wavy hair, as well. Here's the thing, though: while this product did a pretty good job of absorbing excess oil on my hair, it didn't do much for right near my scalp. So, to really feel like I'd gotten everything, I still ended up using my fav powdered dry shampoo on my roots. Especially given its high price point, I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation that this product should function as a one-and-done dry shampoo. It just didn't cut it for me. I couldn't help but compare its performance to my go-to drug store brand spray, which DOES absorb at my roots well, doesn't leave behind white residue, and costs only about $8. I have been fortunate to try several products from this premium haircare line. Lots of them are really great. This one was kind of a miss for me, though. ... show more

  • Excellent professional dry shampoo | R+Co BLEU Retroactive Dry Shampoo, 6.5 Oz
Size: 6.50 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Wonderful dry shampoo that works perfectly for getting a few extra days out of a blowout or cowash. I keep this at my salon and mostly spritz this on myself every few days when I notice my roots looking greasy, but I also have a few older ladies who will come to me that only want their hair sprayed and reset, not washed - so this dry shampoo is a must for keeping the hair looking fresh. Only a few sprays needed and instantly hair is revitalized and looks like a brand new blowout. Price is high, but this is a professional product so it's to be expected. The price is in keeping with what you would pay for this product at any average salon, so I feel it's competitive and fair in terms of market value. As far as the product inside, you absolutely do get what you pay for and R+Co is a line of professional products that demonstrates some of the highest quality available. A little goes a very long way, the can is enormous, and I think you could conservatively get an entire year of use out of this container even with regular spritzing. Seriously. Despite even being vegan and a very sustainable brand, R+Co consistently put out products that work great and are highly concentrated, so I'm thrilled with the performance of this product and will likely continue to make it the dry shampoo mainstay in my salon. I've gone through two other containers of other brands of dry shampoo while this one still has plenty of product, and I was intentionally making sure to grab them all about equally, so I know the usage here does go a very long way. Overall I would not hesitate to suggest this product for either personal or professional use. Recommended. ... show more
