I love this stuff! I have thick wavy hair that I like to blowout but usually by day 2 my hair has lost all the volume in the front. This product is perfect, for giving a little refresh and adding some hold so my front pieces are not falling flat and can be easily manipulated into the shape I want. This is my first purchase from R+Co Badlands and no regrets. I was looking for something to freshen up my roots and lift/boost hair in-between washes (that is not a spray) ...this is it! The fragrance is light and hair stays soft. My hair type: naturally curly, I blow dry it straight with round brush 2x a week. I have not experienced any sticky, gritty or greasy hair. Don't let size of the product discourage you-only a small amount on the fingertips is needed to work into the roots. Perfect "next day hair" quick styling fix. This is a really unique product. For those complaining it doesn't work as a typical styling paste, I don't think it is meant to work like that. It is truly a dry shampoo in paste form. It needs to be applied to the roots. If you are looking for a styling paste for the ends, I wouldn't choose this since that is not what it is designed for. My only complaint is that it smells like the cheapest, most noxious dollar store citronella candle. If it weren't for the fact that you can't smell it after a couple hours, I'd have had to throw this away. I really hope R+Co considers reformulating this with a less offensive scent. ... show more

This product my hair such lift and volume! I cannot find any other products that work so well and my hair so soft. My hair is oily and it helps to absorb the extra hair oils!

I have a love hate relationship with this product. It feels like sand is in your hair after using it but because of that it holds really well in my bangs because they like to split. It has unfortunately cause me to break out on my forehead like crazy. It is hidden by the bangs but not thrilled about the acne. I’ve used this product for a few months. I reserve it now for special occasions when I need my bangs to look perfect but not for everyday use which makes me really sad because it works so well for styling my bangs. If you have fine hair and need volume this is the stuff you want. Mix it up in the container and let a lil get warm while it’s on your fingers and rub on your roots. I recently lost 80lbs taking a GLP-1 and a lot of my hair fell out. Now that I am almost at my goal it’s starting to grow back. This product makes my hair look thicker and smells awesome. Get it. I tried this product multiple times and it didn’t make my hair any less greasy. Very disappointing. I was hopeful that this different form would be better, but I would rather go with a spray. At least those work.

When applied as instructed, it kind of adds volume, but only lasts for a few minutes at most. It ads weight and makes the hair even more flat and somehow.
