Simple add-on for Winch
I was having trouble loading items on my trailer due to the short reach of the corded remote on my Superwinch X-3. I bought the QWORK wireless receiver with two hand controls and installed it. I was able to mount the receiver underneath the plastic cover, and wire it in without affecting how the plug-in remote works. I found that the wireless remotes work up to 100 ft away, though there is a slight delay in the actuation of the winch beyond about 75 ft which could be a problem for fine control. Since my winch cable is only 30 ft long, this is not a problem, and the device works very well so far. I was concerned about the light gauge of the wire on the receiver since is is much lighter than the wire on my corded remote, but there was no problem in actuating the solenoids. I just made an adaptor jumper wire to step up to a larger connector and put it on the solenoid leads. Wiring was otherwise no problem once I figured out the in and out solenoids on the winch. I am well satisfied with the price and performance so far!

Great addition for your dump trailer.
This is an awesome addition for my dump trailer. Easy installation and is only cost $15. The remote controllers worked fine at about 150 ft. away didn't find it necessary to test any farther. The connectors on the end of the wires were all wrong for my application, so I had to cut them off and install what I needed. I'm very satisfied.

It works very well and buttons are very responsive.
I replaced the corded remote on my forklift with this unit and it works great. I have the transmitter inside a metal case and zero transmission issues. It is very responsive and the remote automatically turns off with idle for a period of time which saves the battery.

I wouldnt suggest buying this... one click and thats all it took.
Listen to the other reviews. One click to twst it was all it took to internally start frying. Had to quickly disconnect it before im sure it wouldve melted away. Ordered yesterday got it today installed in 5 minutes and yea no worky.. also the terminal connections are super small so maybe this is ment for a like a 5lb winch.. if you look close to the box you can see where it started melting internally and leaking out. Should've known better.

Great value
I am using this for a tilt trailer that is power up and power down. I chose this because of the price and the buttons are not labeled in/out like most winch remotes, they have up and down arrows which is perfect for my use. This product will work right out of the package for a tilt or dump trailer that is power up and gravity down but if your trailer is power down you will need to combine the two control wires with diodes for the pump power then split them off before the diodes to control the up/down valves. It's pretty simple but you should know what you are doing before you choose this product for something it was not designed to do. I would imagine this would be perfect for a winch and I could probably come up with more off label uses for it too. You could use it as a remote momentary switch for pretty much anything 12V, possibly with a relay for high current applications. It does not come with instructions. You will need to use the instructions in product photos in the product listing or just figure out what is what with a meter. The place where I bought my trailer wanted $300 for a wireless remote. This was a better buy.

My application needed different ends on the wires.
This came with ring-style connectors on the wires and my application needed insulated spade connectors. It took all of about 5 minutes to change them. In my case, the control unit fit perfectly under the main electrical cover. This works great. Just make sure that you read the instructions for the wireless remotes. They require you to hold the power button for 3 seconds for the controller to work. They also shut off automatically after a certain time period. This is a great safety feature and battery saver. I can see how some people could not get them to work, though. AGAIN...READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. The remotes have a good range and are small enough to fit in a pocket yet, large enough not to get lost easily.

Worked out of box just fine
I looked at a few of these before pulling the trigger on this one. Saw several low reviews of not working/smoke coming out and quitting/ wires melting. It had a basic install sheet in it, in black and white, so you had to look closely to figure out the difference between the yellow and white wire. I have to wonder on the ones that reportedly smoked quickly, wires were either in the wrong spot, or they tried controlling the winch motor directly !?? Don't even know how that could have been. Existing applications should have a reversing power relay (cable directional relay) that you control with the remote module. Was able to fit mine in under the relay/manual cable connect bulkhead box. Wired it in, in parallel with the remote cord wires from the bulkhead connector--in case it dies on me I can plug the wired control back in and go. Have used it several times so far--application is a service winch-crane to lift heavy stuff (up to 55GL barrels of oil/coolant) in to the service area of my truck.

Didn’t Work With My 2019 Dump Trailer
I tried using this wireless remote on a 2019 dump trailer since it works similar to a winch remote but for me it did not work it might have been my setup but it never worked on my trailer so just keep that in mind before buying it the quality also felt pretty cheap overall it did not work for my use
