Description
You chose the perfect flooring for your room but don't know which underlayment to install? QuietWalk LV is our most versatile premium underlayment choice allowing firm support for multiple types of flooring with great acoustic benefits. This product is built with sound reduction and moisture dissipation in mind. The unique DriWick technology relies on a blend of recycled fibers that will wick away subfloor moisture, while the attached 6-mil vapor barrier is specially designed to protect your flooring from water damage. It has advanced "self-healing" properties that continue to protect from moisture, even if your flooring is mechanically fastened. The film is specially designed to offer superior bond with adhesives, making it the preferred choice for glue-down installation. Synthetic fiber underlayments are fast becoming the most specified product by architects and designers, due to their acoustical and moisture protection qualities. This synthetic fiber underlayment will support and maintain the functionality of your flooring for a lifetime. A patented manufacturing process repurposes post-industrial and post-consumer materials into high-performance underlayment, giving you a unique eco-friendly option for flooring underlayment. QuietWalk LV underlayment can also be used with radiant heat systems such as QuietWarmth, for an extra warm and cozy floor.
