25 years ago, I bought a very good quality firm mattress, even though I like a softer feel. My theory was and has proven true, that softness can be added to the top. The mattress is held up like a champ. My 3 in memory foam topper was starting to turn brown and not evenly supportive anymore so I got this mattress pad. I placed a fleece mattress pad on top of the mattress first and then this mattress pad with the bumpy side down. Voila. Every bit is comfortable as my 3-in memory foam used to be! It's nice to have a nice tidy look as well! I had been holding all of it together with a white sheet and then putting my regular sleeping sheets on top of that. But now I don't need to do that, the bed is very very comfortable and I actually am the proverbial "princess and the pea". No it doesn't look as thick as my 3 in memory foam but it works just as well with the fleece mattress pad under it. I haven't tested for water resistance, but I doubt that it is water resistant, because it does have stitching holes through it. I haven't noticed that it sleeps hot or cold. Anyway I think that I got a good value for my money and I appreciate that.

This mattress topper is so soft and comfortable. It didn’t have a smell or order when it arrived and it shipped right away and came earlier than expected. I love how this topper helps with back pain and great value for money. It’s not to firm. It makes you want to stay in bed all day. It is water proof, we have toddlers and they spilled water and also blueberries got squished on it and I used peroxide and it came right out so easily like the stain was never there. Overall GREAT product!

I put a lot of time into looking for a topper that would soften the feel of my extra firm mattress. When the box arrived, it said MATTRESS PAD on the box. I was confused because a mattress pad is thin and not what i wanted. I was contemplating returning without opening the box. I'm glad did not. The item was definitely a topper that provides a lot of comfort to my extra firm mattress. The only problem is the skirt barely can be stretched over the corner of my 14 inch mattress to secure it to the bed. It arches up along the sides because of the shortness and pulling at the corners. In fact, it ripped at one corner as I was pulling to get it to grip under the corner of the mattress. I'm hoping it will stay in place over time.

I love the couple of inches of memory foam covered with egg crate foam. The middle had a bump in it from the way it was vacuum packed and I thought I got what I got but I left it out flat for a couple of days for it to bloom before I slept on it and it fixed itself. It did rise up to the described height. The cover is soft and the skirting is made of thick stretchy material cover's my 12" mattress and my 8" bed frame and the best part it stays in place. It's supposed to be almost completely waterproof as stated by the description if you turn it over. but that would put the egg crate foam on the bottom. I'm not concerned about that feature tho. I'd say it is repellent top side up if you clean up a fresh spill right away. Top side up would not be good for a bed wetter. Description doesn't really do it justice. This is a very nice foam mattress topper that will make your body happy. I'd purchase it again.

This looks like a well-made mattress pad and it's quite comfortable. But it is not washable and cannot be dry cleaned. I had no idea that there are any waterproof pads that are not washable. Unless I really needed it now, I would send it back.

We put it on our bed during the 24-72hour recommended mark, it was 48hour after put it on. When it arrived it was still pretty air tight and thin but I got thicker after that 48 hour mark. So I definitely wouldn’t put it on your bed right away. No smell, it fit well under our mattress protector and sheet. My shoulders aren’t tight and stiff feeling when I wake up it’s a great option to soften up your bed, great value!
