    • Afraid it Won't Hold Up
My review was NOT part of a promotion. I purchased this with 100% of my own hard earned $. I purchased from Amazon after reading favorable reviews at Home Depot - though some reviews were paid promotions! I wanted to put vinyl plank down in the kitchen and front room. The front room floor was 1/4" lower than the kitchen and I did not want to have a transition piece between the rooms. I chose this product based on so many favorable reviews. It was easy to install. After the vinyl installer left I walked around the rooms to admire the pretty new floor. In the areas that I had installed the Quiet Board the floor felt squishy and I could see the planks compress slightly as I walked. Occasionally I could hear popping noises in the flooring as I walked about. In the kitchen area, where the vinyl is installed without Quietboard, the vinyl feels firm and secure. I AM VERY CONCERNED that my new expensive floor will eventually fail as I'm leery that the Quietboard will not support it in the long term. ... show more
