Size: 71" x 36" x 36" Color: Clear
In the pictures it looks bigger. I was worried about that when I ordered it. But neverthless it's a cute little greenhouse and keeps in the heat well. Then again I live in Florida. It's cheap plastic and thin metal and plastic wrap. The zippers were all screwed up but it's a easy fix. Gonna order another one to put on the other end. It's rectangle shape. Decent height. I use this for my tomatoes. **** edit**** After a minor issue with the zipper the service team contacted me and is resenting me a new cover. Was very courteous and handled it professionally. I was fine with the zipper being kind of broken but they insisted on sending a new one for me. Excellent service.*** ... show more

  • Badly deteriorated after less than three months under Louisiana sun
Size: 71" x 36" x 36" Color: Green
After less than three months in the Louisiana summer sun, the plastic of the greenhouse deteriorated, leaving holes in between the mesh (see photo), defeating the purpose of protecting my plants from insects in the summer and the cold of winter. Thankfully, Amazon issued a refund. Side note: The heat buildup inside the greenhouse was tremendous from the start, so to create cross-ventilation, I cut out large windows on the two long sides of the greenhouse (four windows altogether), but left the top-sides of the windows uncut so that flaps remained that could be rolled up and tacked with Velcro, or left down. I covered the window openings with fiberglass window screening, cut larger than the window openings, that I glued on, edge to edge, around the perimeter of the windows. A lot of added expense and work to be defeated by poor quality. So, I just purchased for $20 a large roll of UV protected, 6mil, 4-year warranted plastic sheeting that I plan on cutting and gluing to the damaged plastic. Kind of ridiculous, but I'm too far into this project to chuck it. ... show more

  • Happy Plants Riding out a Pacific NorthWest Winter
Size: 71" x 36" x 36" Color: Clear
It's not actually waterproof (due to zipper material and placement), and it's not clear how this is "reinforced" but all the plants I've thrown in it are thriving and growing right through the foggy, chilly NorthWest winter. I've only had this greenhouse up on my back-patio for 3 weeks, but thus far I'm very pleased with the quality, especially given the price. The frame definitely has to be weighted down (I used stone tiles), but I suppose that's the natural tradeoff of having a structure that is light-weight and easy to transport & assemble. I also intend to use zip-ties to further secure the plastic shell to the frame before the next wind-storm rolls in, but it has survived moderate wind with just the tie-attachment points it comes with. Overall, I'm pleased with this and may even purchase another since all the plants I've put into it seem to be thriving even more than those I have indoors under grow lamps. Note: My opinion on this products performance may be in stark contrast to someone who lives where it gets snowy and super cold. I live less than a mile from the coast in the Pacific Northwest where it never snows and rarely drops into the low or even mid-30s. The temperature typically fluctuates from 60 to 43F, and I worry about excessive fog more than frost. Pros: Easy Assembly Light/ easy to move Not an eye-sore Happy Plants/ At least warm enough for low 40s (F) Multiple Zipper-openings make it easy to access plants inside Price - I'll feel like I got my money's worth even if it just lasts a year or two Cons: Needs perimeter poles weighted down & doing so creates gaps between plastic and ground where cold air can get in. This is not a big deal for me in a mild climate, but I imagine it might cause critical heat-loss in colder climates. However, If you have a true backyard ( as opposed to just a patio), you could probably stake it to the ground in a manner that wouldn't lead to gaps, or I imagine there are other ways to get creative with anchoring it to other structures that would circumvent such an issue as well. Zipper material and placement makes it not actually Waterproof...Although, I don't feel like this is a big issue since we're talking about somewhere to store plants, not precious artwork. Could use more tie-points to attach plastic shell to frame, and/or internal fabric loops that allow easy reinforcement with zip-ties. Right now the only way to reinforce with zip ties looks like it will necessarily require cutting holes in the plastic, which I worry may result in tearing down the line. ... show more

  • Rendered useless in days
Size: 71" x 36" x 36" Color: Clear
The size of this greenhouse top is nice for my raised planter bed, but it’s light as a feather and didn’t come with anything to hold it down. I assembled it a few days ago and the first wind that swept through (unexpectedly), tossed this thing about 30 feet across my yard and snapped one of the top poles and it’s plastic connectors and also punctured a hole in the plastic cover, rendering it basically useless. We live in a high wind zone (Santa Ana winds) during Fall, and it’s still Winter, so I can only imagine how far this would have been flung if it had been Santa Anas. I also have it blocked by walls on two sides and it still went flying.... ... show more
