Not going to lie, but I was a little skeptic at first. Only because I bought a product that was similar to this one and it didn’t hold up to its specifications. That sure was the case with the NIWA. If you’re looking to have full control of your grow environment then I suggest you add this to your grow. Simple set up, easy to use, and has a accurate reading on temp and humidity. To grow quality it’s all about the environment in your room/tent. With the VPD feature that’s where you’re getting your bang for your buck. Definitely one of my favorite features on this device. Growers, targeting your VPD is essential for optimal growth! I am pleased by all means. Therefore, I will definitely be picking up another one when I invest in another tent. Also, the NIWA team is amazing with their customer service. Not only do they get to you quickly, they also provide you with alternate answers to ensure you get your grow parameters straight. I would recommend this product to any enthusiast that wants quality over quantity. One more thing, they update their product time after time to provide fluency with their product.     • Great Device and Company.
Bought this to control all my grow tent parameters and was not dissappointed. I did have a bit of trouble logging on at first, but customer service was very helpful. Once it was hooked up, everything was great and worked throughout the grow period. At the time, I really wanted a CO2 sensor, so I bought a separte one, but since then NIWA has incorporated the CO2 sensor into their power strip! I also would have liked the ability to manually turn things on and off, and they have added that to their software since then. I highly recommend this device and believe it will keep getting better, since it appears that NIWA is listening to their customers and improving their device. ... show more

    • Make sure your fully prepared to use device, if not....
I thought the research and knowledge I obtained would be sufficient and I was ready to add device to my grow, wow was I WRONG... I was getting so angry, sat there forever doing everything I could just trying to finish the INITIAL setup process, which never happened! Not once was I able to actually use this "awesome" device. My hopes of a grow being fully controllable via Android devices were(for now) shot down. I was infact NOT fully prepared to handle device. So my advice is do your homework, ask questions and make sure that you have what's needed to add this to your grow and be able to use this wonderful tool. Or your going to be upset you spent the amount you did on this when it could have been invested else where not wasting pretty much a week of time you can't get back in a grow.. ... show more

    • Game changer...
The Niwa hub has worked amazing for us. We had a couple hiccups at first but customer service was all over it helping us. Patience is a virtue, so don't try to make too many changes at once. Love that we can keep an eye out wherever we are , from a distance. Have a Pulse Pro as well and they are very very close with readings. Unlike the Pulse though , the Niwa controls everything as needed. This would be a 5 star rating except that there are some things that we feel could be done : Longer chord for sensor, ability to turn on and off different components without exiting the recipe and maybe something on the strip itself for mounting. All of this being said, I would not hesitate to purchase this product. It makes life so much easier. Shout out to Javier for always getting back to us and the awesome support.     • This enviornment controller is a BEAST!!
I'm 1000% satisfied with this controller! I bought it to use in my 2x4 grow tent. I was able to connect my exhaust fan, spcae heater, dehumidifier and two 2L humidifiers.(not recommended but the humidifiers work just fine) This unit has a temperature deadband of .5 degrees and RH deadband of 2%. This alows me to really dial in my VPD range. Prior to this, I was using three different controllers with three different sensors, which had three different temp and RH readings. The Niwa Grow Hub is a beast! Basically, All I need to do is water my girls, refill my humidifiers, and pray that the electricity doesn't go out. I have to say that their customer service is also nothing but spectacular. I was having a few issues when I first bought the controller. They were able to diagnose the issue and update my controller within 5 min. I was sceptical at first because the price point was so low compared to other comparable enviornment controllers. Normally, you get what you pay for. In this case, this controller is a steal for $209! Great job Niwa ... show more

    • Needs a heap more development
Wanted to love this. Had buggy experience getting it up, connected and stable like others. 2 times kept pump on, hello floodzone! Biggest flaws are the app and realtime updating and more so no buffer in transitions. Set for 60rh, reaches target and powers dehumid. Drops below 60%, back on with humidifier. Hello constant battle, on,off,on, off. Crazy. Development seems to have stopped also. Try ACInfinity to see all the features a controller should have, for cheaper and with realtime updating. Dont blame anyone when heater stays on and you lose your chillis to extreme heat stress! It sucks and can happen! ... show more

    • Piece of Mind that my Grow tent is at what it is suppose to be at.
The Niwa Grow Hub is an essential tool for any ones Tent. I have purchased 2 of these units. There was one little set back that I created, for 2 months I had to much wattage running through the Unit and it had blown a fuse (Realized in the A.M. when I check the app). I contacted Niwa through E-mail and had a response an hour later. Sent it out to have the fuse changed. Back in Business. Customer Service is excellent.
