I am sitting in my kitchen watching 70 mph wind gusts beat the heck out of my Quictent 10x20 carport. I have had this thing up since the spring of 2024. It has survived baking heat, feet of snow, and many, many days like today where the wind takes out trees, and roofs, but the Quictent keeps on going. Even the tarp itself is in near perfect condition. The only thing that has recently needed replacement are the bungees. I paid Bezos $13.99 for 50 of them. Set it up well. Keep the lines tight. Anchor to the ground as best you can (think rebar and a sledgehammer, not tent stakes). The geometry is rock solid. Not even my newly licensed 16-year-old modifying a leg with a car bumper was enough to compromise its integrity. Plus, I understand that this is a company that stands behind its products. I can see why.

I put this up myself in about a couple of hours in may dirt, never drive-way. Pretty easy assembly. Seems to be well built and sturdy, with a heavy-duty tarp and stout poles with a few useful items thrown in the package I wasn't expecting - like a few extra bungees, some wire reenforcing tie-downs in case the wire slips from its compression clips. I didn't use them- didn't seem to need them yet, although maybe I'll need them after a storm. There were also bags to fill with sand to hold down 4 of the posts. The only thing rinky-dink was some thin rope and tent pegs to tie it down. Both the rope and tent pegs could have been more heavy-duty. I've yet to have the first winter storm, so that will be the test, but so far, it keeps the sun and tree sap off my new car.

great carport. company is really easy to work with. I didn't use the water seal tape that came in the kit. use gutter sealant on the edges of the roof panels and all of the screws. gave a much better seal for the roof. use anchors in the gravel. very nice carport.

Summary review. Pieces are directional, not mentioned in instructions. Fit both ways, bit screw holes dont align. Self tapping 1/2 roofing screws, 5/16th bit, impact driver, 10mm wrench, ratchet and atleast 6ft ladder(if youre tall) The quality is surprisingly good, especially for the price. I got this one specifically becuase of the pitch of the roof. Since living on the north east snow can be a problem. Now the bad. The instructions do not specify that thie pieces are directional. The pieces are the same size, arch and lenght. So they will fit both ways, but you wolnt realize you have the piece flipped until its time to add the roof panels and support struts for roof. I build the frame and erected it. Got to the point of adding struts and found out I had half of piece "2" flipped. So I too it all down and fixed it. Halfway through the roof panels I realized the holes arent aligned becuase I have half of the piece "A1" flipped. Same thing with the legs piece "3". I would recommend getting some self tapping roof screws and possible a drill bit. I was able to do build it by myself. Tools needed are 10mm wrench and ratchet. 5/16th bit for roof screws. An impact driver or drill. I used a ladder and ratchet strap to pull fram together and align the holes on the roof panels/frame. It took me so much longer becuase of bad instructions that didn't specify directions. If that wasnt the case It would have been 5 stars for the price.

Company was awesome to work with! Willow was awesome! Had issues with Fedex shipping but they were all over it and proactively took care of sending me a replacement. The pre-drilled holes is a game changer. Just make sure you pay attention to the direction things go together. The holes should be roughly 4in apart. if they aren't then you have a corner backwards. Was missing one panel but the company has been very quick to take care of it. I can not recommend this product enough. Really happy with it. very solid and looks great! One more key note, the carport is more than 12 ft wide. If you have an exactly 12 ft space (like i did) then you are going to need another 4in or so. I am actually happy it was wider but had to extend the concrete.. UPDATE - Had a missing panel. Not only did Willow send me the missing panel super fast but send me extras! Great company!

Our mom’s place is older and never had a garage built back in the day. It wasn’t really a big problem until the past few years with the weather not being what it used to be. The carport I wanted to get her due to shipping issues would have taken over a year and even with that no promises. So to get something up now I ended up going with this as it was in stock. The shipper dropped off the box. Thankfully I keep a small dolly in the truck so when I went over I used it to move it to the backyard area. Due to its size, dimensions of the box and the weight, you either need a dolly to move it or two people. Not that it is all that heavy just not something one person can get their arms around to move, literally. Inside the box everything was there, nothing missing, nothing damaged. The instructions for assembly if I had to grade them I’d give a ‘C’ to. Some parts aren’t the most clearly labelled to say the least but through trial and error you get the correct angle pieces in the right order. The bars and joints snap together using spring loaded tabs, no screws or bolts. No worries though as they hold up very well. I put hers together in three sections, the two sides and the arched roofed area. Then we lifted and assembled those sections similar to how a house framer would do. Furthermore I used a level to get the legs as straight as possible. All in all going this route just made the whole process easier. Example finishing the one side and I noticed I had used an angle joint that wasn’t the same as I’d used on the other. So I knew at that point there was an error and corrected that before the ‘fix’ became more of a pain to correct. Once the frame is snapped in place and standing up then I grabbed a short ladder and used the bungee connectors for the roof material starting on one end and working my way around. The tarp used for the roofing fit perfectly. One issue we have to deal with out here are very high seasonal winds. I was most concerned about that. Though this comes with stakes to help secure it at multiple stress points I wanted more. I ordered from here, several pieces of short rebar that were shaped like Shepard’s crooks. Pounded those in and tied the white straps to those. I went into town and picked up over a dozen very heavy duty tent stakes. I used those in each of the feet to get more holding power. Doing it this way even with the winds there was no need to use their 'sand bags.' My timing for the job was perfect as the very next day after it was all done there was a wind storm with gusts to 60 mph. I kept checking it remotely using her security cams but it only moved, flexed minimally with the big gusts. At first the movement was a little disconcerting but like the old children’s fable of the tree and reed in the wind, with the reed bending while the stiff tree breaking, this is how the carport was designed to react. It gives, flexes in the right spots just enough so it doesn’t turn into a stiff kite ready to fly off. There have been several high wind events since and it has held up with no issues up to 74 mph (source local weather station). This carport for the money I feel is a great option for basic protection. While it won’t stop golf ball sized hail it will keep torrents of marble sized off whatever is underneath. Then there is the protection from the sun and UV rays that degrade paint etc. The only negatives? one person can’t put this up unless they are a human octopus. Second while the bungees used to hold the tarp on work great now, over time bungees in the elements degrade, fall apart and rot to pieces until they just snap. Just something to keep in mind on down the road. Nonetheless I would recommend this to anyone needing a quick inexpensive means to protect a vehicle.

I had three issues and they only took care of one. I received them damaged and they replaced the for tubes that were dented. I fastened my awning to a concrete pad with bolts. Their fasteners to connect the tube to the base was engineered improperly as the vibration from the wind loosened the bolts. The bases failed under a slightly windy day. Their response was there is no warranty for wind. The top has a one year warranty and the bungee cords are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. I just notified them that my top has holes in it at this one year mark and all of the bungee cords failed (hence the tarp damage). Their response is send us $100 and we'll send you more of our product. I've shopped and found tarps for one third of that price. Look elsewhere and pay less.

The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the instructions are TERRIBLE! Very bad instructions, but the carport is sturdy and well made and it looks great once it's out together. However, no matter how good you'll align the base, the holes on the roof panels will not align. Make sure you have a drill bit and a drill because you'll need to make more holes. But definitely, THE INSTRUCTIONS SUCK! And you'll end up taking the base apart because the instructions fail to say and describe what holes need to align where when setting up the base. But you'll find out this mess up when you'll be installing the roof panels and certain holes will not align. Give yourself plenty of time to assemble and disassemble.
