Poor quality I ordered 2 of these and both when tightened were up side down. They also leak gas out and water in ,which makes them useless. Now they have both lost the clear cover. Total waste of money

The plastic clear cap fell off within the first couple of weeks. So disappointed. Now I’m concerned about the accuracy of the gauge, so it is useless. Had high hopes for it as the last one (different brand) lasted 13 years. 4/7/2023 company contacted me and offered to replace or refund the item. I chose replace and it was shipped to me and there was great communication. The new cap is in place and seems to be working great. I have a later model Ranger with the gas gauge sending unit built into the fuel pump. The gauge quit working and I didn't want to replace the fuel pump to make the fuel gauge work.
