    • Works but needs to update
The carburetor works good but I had to modify the intake bolt holes. It was a little too small so I had to drill them bigger for it to slide down all the way. The air intake doesn’t fit on the carburetor because it hits the starter wire and the engine mounting bracket. So I had to buy that intake with a 90 degree in order to fit because if you run no air filter, it leads to your engine bogging and risk getting dirt into your engine and dirtying your carburetor. I’ve bought many of these carburetors on Amazon and all seem to be the same. Nothing I can do but work around and modifying them. ... show more

    • Ungunk the engine & having more power.
Over I say that a new carburetor is the way to go. Spending over a hour or 2 cleaning it & using the same old over just doesn't seem worth it. If you mess up the pin or lose a spring you are going to spend the same amount $ & more time. I've used these carburetors several times and they seem to great for the generic Japanese ones. But I usually always look for higher quality when I have working on higher quality products. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Bought a scooter that’s been sitting for 2 years and owner claimed it didn’t start and doesn’t know why for 75$ , checked the carburetor , bought this one and she started rite up , nice and quiet .
