Works just like expected. Spore germinated within 2-3 days. It even germinated a spore that I had concerns about. I have purchased this item several times with no issue.

The media could not be loaded. I haven’t had a chance to use this kit yet, but first impressions are good. Everything arrived well packaged and appears to be good quality. The components look clean, organized, and easy to work with, and the instructions are straightforward. The jars and accessories seem well thought out for quick culture and germination setups, and nothing arrived damaged or missing. I’m planning to put this to use soon and will update my review after I’ve had hands-on experience with results. So far, based on build quality and presentation, it looks promising and like a good value for the money.

I have bought these three times now and they’re great. Confident in the quality by now, I’ve never had a contamination issue. The company is also a pleasure to work with. I do want to add that they tell you these are for shorter term growth/storage and I’ve had successful cultures sitting in my lab at room temperature for well over a month and had wonderful results. I like that they under promise- but the product DOES over deliver.

So-far so-good. I like the liquid agar because for me it's easier to work with than the dry agar. Less risk of contamination. Also it's pretty cool watching the mycelium grow bigger by the day in the glass ampule. And then there's the economic gain because the mycelium grows big enough for multiple bag inoculations which stretches-out your spore supply. The cost is well worth it when you consider all the benefits. If you are wary about them just try one pack and see if it's for you too. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. But So-far I can recommend them without hesitation. If that changes I can update this review but for now I am happy with them.

Just remarkable! These are great because they produce! Just a few drops and in about 3 days you'll have a snow globe! Never had any contamination. Now when I inoculate something, I do it biggly! Really speeds up the process, eh?
