This was a Christmas gift for our 8 year old. First, with the pieces provided, it's impossible to build the track pictured on the box. There were two pieces missing which were needed to complete it. We got a similar track built with the elevator, which works even though it doesn't stand up straight. Track needs to be constantly repaired as it's being used....which isn't a huge deal but sure would be nice to have it just stay together on it's own. ... show more

great track, stable, kid loves what I could put together. however, it is missing half the straight tracks and 1 round base. otherwise, we could have done more with it. will have to buy different sets to get some more track and make a huge one.

My 9 year old son wanted to use his own birthday money on this marble set. The ages say it’s for ages 7-14. It took 4 adults to hold/put this together. It kept falling apart. The directions aren’t very clear. The 4 poles are very loose. Once we got it together, the marbles did glide really smooth. But then we scooted the track over just a bit and the WHOLE thing came crashing down. My son was crushed. So we built it again. This time I used A LOT of sticky tac to hold all the pieces tighter. That helped a little bit. But it’s still wobbly. The concept of this toy is great… it’s neat when it works right. But it needs a different way of putting it together. My 12 year old loves building things and he picked this out after comparing different marble tracks online. It is well constructed and has enough pieces to make endless combinations. He can use this by himself and followed the instructions when he first got it but now uses his imagination to design different courses. I definitely recommend this product. ... show more
