-Placed on top of a 10-inch mattress, there was plenty of the clingy portion stretched across the underside of the mattress while still managing to hold the topper in place without any shifting. I added a memory foam topper, too, and this mattress topper had no problem wrapping over the 3-inch memory foam + the 10-inch mattress. After 2 weeks, it’s not shifted place or come loose! It can easily fit over tall/deep mattresses. That’s a win by itself. -As for the cushioned portions’s size, it correctly fit my king-size mattress. It was not too short or narrow, and nothing hangs off. Again, that’s why the clingy portion of the topper impressed me; if that’s poorly designed, it can leave the cushioned portion not fitting over the entire sleeping area. So, another win for design. -Lastly, I bought this primarily as a mattress cover. I did not expect it to make my bed dramatically softer. I slept on this topper for a little over a week before I added a memory foam topper under it. During that time, I thought it improved my bed, but I can imagine someone hoping for a lot of padding to be disappointed. I don’t think it’s as thick or fluffy as it looks online.

I wanted to purchase again a topper from another brand "Sleeping on the Cloud" that I bought last November for my guests bedroom but it was out of stock so I decided to purchase this one even though I read some complaints about the thickeness not being as it was marketed. They were right. It's not thick as the one I bough before from another brand. It's a flimsy bed topper, very thin and definitely not "overfilled" like the description says. I think is not even 1.5 inches. I gave 3 stars because I find it's comfortable and soft, but nothing compare to the one I bought in December 2023. I didn't return it because it's a pain in the neck to put it back in the box. Not really happy but it's for the guests room so I don't have to sleep over it :-)
