We wanted to upgrade our mattress since we have a toddler who sleeps in bed with us. We use it directly on the floor with slats on the bottom to avoid locking in moisture. This definitely feels more on the firm side rather than medium firm, which we’re okay with. We’re combination sleepers but this mattress works for us. The edges does feel a little to flimsy/lacks support but it’s not really an issue for us. We slept on first night we got this delivered and it wasn’t too bad - expanded right away. Toddler slept really well & idk if it’s the mattress but he slept on his back all night which we love (he usually ends up twists and turning in bed trying to find his position) As for us, It’s just right, it’s firm but comfortable (we weigh 100-150lbs) The only issue we have with it is that it’s reaaaallly heavy! We’re at the second floor & needed to have 3 person to carry it since delivery person left it. So far so good! I’ll try to update my review after a month or two to see if it holds up. Update [09/02/25] The mattress still feels great! Although I can tell the difference between the area we usually sleep at compared to areas where we just rest our feet etc. which isn’t too bad. I recently purchased this Memory Mattress, and it has significantly improved my sleep quality. From the first night, I noticed a substantial difference in comfort and support. The mattress contours perfectly to my body, providing excellent support for my back and joints. This has been especially beneficial for relieving the back pain I used to experience with my old mattress. The memory foam technology does a fantastic job of reducing motion transfer. My partner and I no longer disturb each other’s sleep when one of us moves during the night. This feature alone has made our nights much more restful. In terms of temperature regulation, the Memory Mattress performs well. It incorporates cooling gel layers that prevent overheating, which is a common issue with traditional memory foam mattresses. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how cool and comfortable it remains throughout the night. The mattress was easy to set up. It arrived promptly, well-packaged, and expanded to its full size within a few hours. The slight off-gassing odor was minimal and dissipated quickly.     • Solid Value, But Midsection Support and Shoulder Pressure Relief Fall Short

Budget-friendly but struggles with midsection support Use: 4 months, ~194 lbs, broad shoulders, mostly side sleeper. Support: Started out fine, but after a month I noticed sagging in the hip/midsection area. This leaves my upper body slightly propped up in a “V” shape. Flipping the mattress head-to-foot helps for a bit, but the coils don’t feel strong enough to keep the spine aligned long term. Firmness: For people in my weight range (~190 lbs), this mattress feels quite firm. Lower body is supported, but side sleeping puts too much pressure on the shoulders. Lighter sleepers may not feel the sagging as much. If you need more cushion, the 14-inch model may be a better bet. Cooling: Works okay in colder months, but in warmer weather it traps heat. Not unbearable, but definitely on the warmer side. Price: I paid roughly $215 for the 12-inch model, which was a great deal at the time. The materials do feel surprisingly premium for this price range. Notes: Novilla doesn’t clearly state the depth of the individual foam layers (memory foam, transition or support foam), so keep that in mind if layer thickness is important for your comfort. Overall: For the price, it’s a fair hybrid that prevents deep sinkage. But if you’re heavier or broader in the shoulders, the coil strength and comfort may not hold up. ... show more

We were in need of a good mattress for a great price and we can absolutely say this is that mattress. I would give a few days to really judge this mattress and to fully expand I was skeptical first couple days cause it felt stiff but once my body adjusted to this bed it has been some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. I’ve had this bed for over a couple months now it’s so comfortable and so far no sinking has occurred like on my fully memory foam one we had before. I just moved from NY to SC. When I arrived on July 3, I did not have a bed. The order I submitted on June 30, 2021, did not arrive until July 8, 2021. I had to pay someone to come and help me unpack the item it was so heavy. After sleeping on the mattress, I noticed my back, neck, lower back, legs were feeling discomfort and the discomfort became pain. I would go to get out of my truck and my right hip was a mess. I kept saying I need back surgery and a hip replacement. I went out and purchased another Mattress after I visited the doctor and advised him that this happened when I moved to SC. I would go to get adjusted, sleep on the mattress and I was back to where I started from even worse. After purchasing and sleeping on the new mattress the pain and discomfort left my body 100%. I am unable to send back the mattress as it was shrink-wrapped. I can't box this mattress up as it grew after opening. There is no way of getting it back in the box. Do yourself a favor do not purchase a mattress online, it is difficult to return. I really would like the seller to work something out with me. The ad says Comfort Pain relief and Cool and peaceful sleep. Even though all the ratings except for (1) like my experience...I am @ a loss about this mattress. Ok so. Yes, this mattress is great and I have no regrets on purchasing it. However. Do open this with someone else helping you. Even if you think you can manage it yourself. Just don’t. Why? Cause when you do this by yourself and don’t ask for help, and cut through the plastic too aggressively, it will explode. And not like BOOM explosion. But enough force to send me flying backward and then get stuck under said mattress after it achieves it’s queen size in a micro second from the packaging it came in. Send a cup flying across the room that was on the table next to the bed and shattering. Send the dogs into chaos and cause your roommate in the next room, who was wearing noise canceling headphones, to come check on you because “that shook the house!”. I take back what I wrote earlier, it was in fact a BOOM explosion. But now I have a mattress and it’s comfy. The pillow top section is remarkable and I slept like a baby last night. Even though I was sore and a little beaten up from getting punched in the face by a queen mattress. TLDR comfortable just don’t open alone ... show more

We’ve had this mattress for 2 1/2 years and I consistently rotate it. It’s very lumpy now. I guess for the price we can buy another but feel kinda guilty that such a large item is now a throwaway to the dump whereas our last, so-called traditional mattress, lasted so much longer.
